I share your opinion. Plus the complaints won't stop, we'd go from incest debates to "won't play the game anymore", no point in opening up that can of worms. There's lots of comments where ppl say they'll drop the game if Julia dies. Don't forget that storywise, Julia is the only connection the MC has to his family and her death would probably mean the end of his rock star career. We play these games for a thousand different reasons. Yet the only thing that matters is what Devs want to do with their games and stories, and he has decided to do this. Accept it or move on, but please don't say he should do this or he shouldn't do that. It's pointless and annoying

Pretty sure the word you are looking for is verisimilitude instead of realism.
