Is it possible in the game to start dating the band's guitarist (I think her name is Jade) without getting into a relationship or having sex with the band's vocalist? Once upon a time I tried to pass, and unfortunately for myself, I could not get such an opportunity. Maybe after a long time something has changed?

Emma and Nicole are both more interesting than most of the main LIs, I think esp Jane and Anna aren't as interesting although they're both hot.
Anyway I'll stick to best girl Selina so no regrets.

just tried to play it after copying the save folder over, and all it does is run the closing credits from 0.8 then goes to the title screen and not allow me to run 0.9

There are only 4 love interests, it's not a matter of freedom of choice.
Jade is bisexual with a preference for women, she only gets with the MC if she can get with Lisa, it's Lisa that brings her into it.
If you aren't on Lisa's route her and Jade get together so they are always a pair regardless.

so when it goes to the credits just roll back a bit to until you see some story dialog and you should be able to continue the story. i usually save just before the credits play for any game. this way you can continue the story without any hassle if you have to transfer saves
