To be honest, i think I'll do the same, just too many heartbreaks, disappointments with titles, but at least this is one of those that will reach the light at the end of the tunel.

The type of game this is and the type of story it has don't justify the absurdly long development time.
What did he need to think? The paths and their respective endings are already clear; there aren't 100 variables to take into account.

The previous updates didn't take him 8-9 months to finish, which is what this one will end up taking.
I know that, and I wasn't accusing him of being a milker. It's just that I'm genuinely surprised that he's been at it for so damn long when he wouldn't need to write any complicated story or anything since the game is basically completed.

I am and it's so slow going due to work and spending time with my partner and not being able to put down Horizon Forbidden West while still trying to fit in Elden Ring and panicking because the new Assassins Creed Valhalla expansion is out next week then Tiny Tina's Wonderland, then Forspoken and I NEVER HAVE TIME TO DO SHIT.
So I decided i'll just release the whole thing when it's finished because doing it in parts just won't be feasible without turning me into Icstor with tits.

Jesus people. Assuming all we've been told is true the next update is also the last update. Mr. Jets got a lot to tie off and he isn't going to get another release to clean up anything he's missed. He's stopped Patreon and is focusing on finishing his VN to his standards. Thinking back even with the arcs that completed in the last update, there's a lot to tie off.
Assuming he completes this to a high standard does another month or two really matter?

Okay guys, I'm going to be honest with you, since my last post on Patreon I haven't worked on a project. I think most of you know that I live in Russia, and what horrific events have been going on since February 24. All this bullshit has affected me a lot, a lot more than I would have liked. I don't want to get into politics, especially since I've already commented on the topic in my Discord and in one of the threads on this forum. I will just say that most of the time I was depressed and couldn't focus on my work. I tried, really, but all my creativity just disappeared. And it's not surprising since my idiotic government decided to start one of the most ridiculous wars in the history of mankind. Well now the people of both of these countries are suffering. Not politicians, but ordinary citizens.
And now there are problems with Patreon withdrawals, and it's unclear if they will ever be solved. Fuck.
Even though nothing is over yet and the situation is getting worse by the day, I realize that I have an obligation to my Patreons and other players. I already feel better now, so I will continue to work again. Please forgive me for this unexpected shift in my schedule. And once again, I want to express my sincere support to all Ukrainians in these difficult times. Take care of yourselves.
