That is the thing, He announced he would stop working on dune, and work on vega hunters, and the Rumour was that so much support was pulled, he had to go back and do a scene once a month, cause no one wanted anything but dune. No one wanted a new game except just a few people. There is still so much more content that could be added to dune. I mentioned a while back. Clone of the Duke (Female) could be done later after the 10 year scene activation to get revenge. The terraforming has been aded though. He could keep this going for a long time with just endless content. :? I know he is tired of it, but it is the Bread Maker there. -_-

Yeah, but we also have to be realistic, with flash obsolescence and limitations, it would be better for him to port the game to Ren'Py and continue from there on imo. That would also open up the game to easy modding.

I do not like his idea of making a completely new Dune game on a new engine tho, because I'm 100% sure it won't have Jessica M&S action or any type of incest at all. And let's be real, that's the main reason why BTD became so popular. Unfortunately, a completely new game is more likely to happen than a revamp of the OG one.

I'd like to give David the benefit of the doubt on that one. Although I've been wrong before. From what I have read of his ideas for a sequel so far, it seems certain, that Paul is no longer gonna be the protagonist. He and other familiar characters might still appear, though. However, I'd expect there to be less incest for sure. But there HAS to be at least a bit. Surely David knows, that a new Dune game without incest would be dead in the water immediately. Unless the planned release of HiH on steam is a success and brings in a big new vanilla loving audience. But I wouldn't count on that.

Well it seems this is the end as he announced in Patreon this is the last update. Even from looking at discord, he is tired from using flash and wants to move on. He is already working on HiH and the witch game.

As for the best thing we can expect is, he might come back and do a random scene or this is the end. In the future, he expressed that he wanted do a sequel (as an investigator type of game).

He knows what people want but he's reluctant either because he doesn't want to run afoul of Patreon guidelines or he simply has no interest in giving his supporters what they want, good luck getting an answer. People have also been asking for more sex content with the Reverend Mother, Harah, and Khaira but those too have been ignored or updated with such little content that it's essentially meaningless. The first 2 years of this game had more updates and content delivered than the last 4 years.

that's not true, he also trying other project too. he didn't milk anyone because he state it originally when the first version release (not the remake) that he won't pleasing his fan and will only art on his will. and those still support him are for other projects. this one already finished and he just want to re-visit it when he got free time. so you can called it now as side project.

You're delusional. There's more Paul x Jessica content than any other pairing in the game. You can't blame Balsa for not catering to your interests exclusively. Just because Jessica is the most favoured character among the playerbase, doesn't mean, that the others don't have their fans. RM has the most scenes after Jessica and Alia. Harah has more scenes then Paul's canonical main concubine Chani. Concerning Khaira, yeah maybe there could be more of her. Other than that, I don't see, why you are complaining. If you think, there isn't enough content in total, ok. It was never supposed to be a big game, though. And the amount of content per character is pretty much on point with their popularity. You can't just judge that based on the opinions on this forum alone. The tastes are more diverse on his discord and patreon. And those are the people, that he regularly talks to.

No, I think it's his own choice. There's already enough stuff in the game to get him banned from Patreon and there has been for a long time. I have no clue how he keeps getting away with it. Maybe, because he's a small creator and the only way to know, that there is incest and loli is by actually playing the game or reading the tags on some piracy forum and apparently he has been lucky enough, that nobody has ratted him out yet.

That's actually a pretty normal thing. But the whole SFW mode and him still updating it is super weird. He once said, that he made it, so that he can show the game to his family (they don't know he makes porn, apparantly). I can't fathom him showing his folks this parody game with the big titties and them being proud of him, just because there's no nudity?
I just think it's a really weird motivation to make something, that literally noone else wants.

I don't dislike HiH, but there just isn't much to it yet, considering how long he has been working on it. The game looks fantastic, it's more detailed than ever, but there just isn't much to do. I guess David spent a lot of the time just learning how to work with the new tools.
Vega Hunters was actually pretty good, until he changed the whole game concept, so that he could finish it faster and make more Dune content instead.

It wasn't dead back in 2016, when work on the game began and it wasn't dead in 2017, when the game was finished (for the first time). And it still wasn't dead in 2018, when the dev started to remake it.
Flash was a pretty good engine back in the day.
