These saves are pretty old by now. I don't know if they even still work. I'd have to try it out myself. The game now supports multiple saves. Back then it didn't, so at the very least the instructions should be obsolete now.

As far as we know the empire encompasses the entire galaxy, and outside of that is either unexplored or uninhabited. We barely even know what goes on INSIDE the empire. There are so many worlds and we know of only a few.btw was it ever mentioned if there were any other civilizations in the dune universe? the empire pretty much controls the entire galaxy right? so any external threats of a original-ish varity could concievely be added on top of the above mentioned... or would that be better for a thrid game idea?personally i'm a big fan of the power grab-> management -> invasion by an external force story progression in most kindom building fiction. even if it is cliche and done to death. imo it's just natural progression... unless assaination or folly comes round anyways.
An external threat apparently appears in the 5th book (haven't read beyond 4). It takes place thousands of years after the first book. Humanity has scattered and settled outside the galaxy. A splinter group of the Bene Gesserit called the Honored Matres returns to the galaxy with the intent to conquer it.

Probably as a portfolio piece for UI design, someone reimagined the DUNE II game interfaces (with DUNE II being a game from 1992 and a sequel to DUNE, also from 1992, which is the game that Behind The Dune is mostly based on).
I especially like that main menu.

Nah, the empire is a tiny portion of the galaxy as a whole (the galaxy is supposed to be the milky way we live in and it has trillions of worlds (estimated 2024), iirc dune empire only has like 100's of thousands or millys I forget which, at max. But a lot of those are po dunk nowhere worlds with barely anything on em. There's maybe a few worlds colonized outside the milky way, but mostly the Imperium is around Old Earth (Earth). And yeah after the scattering the bene gesserit honored matres come back to dominate humanity with pussy power (a great tale for an Hgame actually). More info:

Of course the vast majority of planets within the limits of the Empire would be uninhabitable. What I'm saying is that no known settled worlds exist outside of the Empire at least in the first trilogy of books.

I remember playing this game like, idk, 10 years ago. It was my first approach to the Dune series so, sadly, when I read the original books a few months ago I couldn't stop picturing incest porn and Stilgar asking for gay anal sex.

For me, I would love if it the developer re-made this game using an engine that is NOT Flash... It's outdated, way too buggy, and lags overtime. I would also love it if voices were added for the sex scenes. They don't necessarily have to be spoken lines, just moans would suffice.
I have to drop a comment here because this is one of my favorite adult games. The art style, fetishes, incest, flappy vaginas and all time available comments from the " audience " during sex scenes were all too good. Hope we get some more updates or even kind of new/remastered game on other engine.
I very much doubt there will be any remastered version, and at most a very small addition once a year or every other year. Tops. Not complaining about any of that, mind you. It's a completed and finished game, so that's to be expected.
