I give credit when it is due, and DPC is certainly near the top of the genre with his renders. By his own admission, and a lot of folk's criticisms we know that writing is NOT his strong suite... in AL it is particularly bad.

Hmm... Some events in the game are that difficult to accept, is it that, right? Then I don't know anymore. I am quite sensitive, get fond of likable characters and hate when they suffer... or die. Surely it is for the best if I pass on this one then.

By the way, in BaDIK, Dr. Pincake warns, through Jill's message at the start of the game for new players very much in this same sense, I get. However I have found the first six episodes fun and lighthearted enough so far. (I have laughed out loud quite a few times playing this). Truth be said, I have played as a massive dik right from the start. Perhaps going another route for the protagonist would have got different and harsher outcomes.

Anyway I really hope this game does not get too dramatic. That would kill much of its fun in my humble opinion. I would hate something really bad happens to sweet Maya, my fav chick in the game. We will see, I guess...

Let me preface this by saying I love this game - my favorite on the site by far.

That said, DPC is going to have to release episodes more frequently than every 4-5 months. At this pace, the game won't be wrapped up for another 3-4 years. I'm not sure you can hold an audience's attention for that long. I know that the quality is most important, and he shouldn't compromise that, but we're talking 2024 or 2025 for a completion.

Someone correct me if i am wrong but didn't the latest update already passed the 5 months mark? Also DPC already said the current update he is working on is bigger than episode 6.

Quality is important sure but bigger doesn't always mean better. Look at how unnecessary (and boring) was this whole mansion cleaning minigame. It would be simpler and take less production time to just make a few dialogue choices to decide how to fix the DIK's house.

I didn't say anything about a "date", I said that it could be Bella and Jill who are playing tennis and Tybalt would show up uninvited, similar to the way he does when they're doing yoga in Ep 2 or the DnG game in Ep 6, and then try to impose himself upon Jill and Bella. If Bella were then to be the one who calls the MC, that doesn't negate or diminish his blackmailing of Jill because she hasn't breached the terms if someone else invites the MC. Tybalt can kick up as much fuss as he wants, but if Bella were to then threaten to leave that would upset Jill and Tybalt does seem to recognise that he needs to be on Bella's good side if he has a chance with Jill so he'd easily relent and allow him to play with them.

In this way, Bella becomes like a loophole in Tybalt's blackmail ploy because he seems to realise that Bella is an important influence on Jill's life and is trying to befriend her so this will help him with Jill, so if Bella invites the MC to things where Jill is also present, he'll have to capitulate to him being there since it's Bella's decision and he needs her on-side in his pursuit of Jill.

What loophole? If Jill is playing Bella, Tybalt would just wait until she's done then spend time with Jill himself. If he wanted a doubles game, he'd provide the 4th person himself specifically so Jill would have no excuse to include the MC; keeping her away from the MC was the entire point of his threat.

If Jill manages to include the MC just because Bella wants to, then we're back to just flagrantly defying Tybalt. After all, Jill is around Bella a lot so what practical limit is Tybalt's ultimatum putting on Jill? "You know I'd turn down the offer if I could, Tybalt, but Bella has her heart set on being a bridesmaid at MC's wedding!"

Look, the blackmail excuse was a threadbare plot hook to begin with. The only way to make it work is if Jill enforces it on herself. So she has to be actively limiting her time with the MC all on her own. It's one thing to be inadvertently roped into a D&G game including the MC. It's quite another to drag the MC into an unrelated activity purely to rub Tybalt's nose in it.

You can't keep treating Tybalt as a butt monkey while simultaneously making Jill worried about crossing him. You can do one or the other (at least in theory), but not both at once.

I liked the mansion cleaning mini game because it drove home Sage's comment about Rusty being on easy street because he's a Burgmeister and 'thats not how frats work' so it was fun I guess sending your fellow diks to do different chores or jobs.

Also its neat that he's trying to branch out into different avenues of game play like trying to set his game apart from other VN's

I shouldn't discourage you from it. You may like it just as much as BaDIK. I will say that it has a much darker tone than the lighthearted Being a DIK. I also hope BaDIK doesn't go too deep on the drama in future episodes. Right now, it has the perfect balance. If DPC keeps it that way and doesn't turn it into a brooding, morose spectacle then I think all will be well.

And a huge thanks to N7 for posting this game and also giving us regular updates about what's going on with the development of the game. This is like the best adult game I've played and even maybe the best game overall with what it makes you feel. You just get attached to the story and the characters and don't want it to ever end. Everything about it is just so perfect. Especially, I really appreciate and am amazed by the wonderful soundtrack of the game. This is what makes you live the already very well written story.
Right now I don't earn but one thing is sure and it is that when I do earn, I'll be really glad to support DrPinkCake's work.

What do you consider a render? Because personally i think ToN has some of the best renders/animations/cutscenes ever seen in a porn game, like that dev should be working on real triple a titles in the gaming industry.

DPC doesn't excel in one aspect, games like LoF and ToN do certain things better but what he does do is make a good overall product.

It's already sped up his development as his status updates have said he's been able to produce more renders and animations at a quicker pace, but he's still got all the back-end stuff to do like coding, plus he's still writing the dialogue, and this episode is going to be bigger than Ep 6, so 4-5 months is still likely to be the norm even with the upgraded tech.

If you know yourself to be sensitive, I can't recommend you the Acting Lessons. it involves cancer , abuse, and death, and yes regarding of the likeable characters. many player suffer some kind of PTSD after that game, and is heavily infected their view on DPC and the Badik game.
my advice is that I don't think that game is for you

Treasures of Nadia by NLT Media. The renders are good and the female characters are hot, but they have overly exaggerated proportions and rubbery looking skin. BaDIK at least has a good mix of characters that look a little bit more realistic with just a few who have exaggerated proportions.
