I actually disagree with this, DPC has an autistic obsession with this game, he's done well this far, and I'd hate to see shit getting fucked up by some outsider coming in adding in shit that disrupts the vibe of BADIK, it might be slower but I'm not in any rush, I'd rather be certain that the same dude who's made my favorite AVN by himself, continues to deliver the same stuff he has been.

For what? To make the development even more complex and slow down? Hiring people to make an renpy game doesnt increase the development speed one bit. There are hundreds of example around this site where teams are making games and they are slow as fuck. I cant name one single game with a team behind it that can even be near the quality of BaD, dreamers or Artmeis for that matter. And especially not content wise. There is just one reason they form a team... cause the indivudals are not capable of doing everything on their own, beacause they lack talent... Devlopers like DPC, philly, drifty, digi.b and maybe ocean too, prove they are making more content of higher quality than any other "devs" or even Dev-teams, by far... and they all are flying solo... so i really dont get it anymore why some people think everythign would be better and faster if DPC would hire people... it doesnt work like that.
DPC has the ideas, while he writes scenes he get new ideas... so, if he maybe would hire some artist for the renders, each and everytime DPC has an idea he has to contact the artist and this artist has to make the renders... by the time this is running DPC would made the renders by himself already, and would be pleased with the outcome, if somebody elese would make them, for each render DPC has to check them... which is just as timeconsuming like making them himself... story writing in the hand of others? Nope no fucking way... animations? DPC loves to make them, if he would give them out of hand he would have burned out long time ago... there is a reason why he put so much time into making them, especially making pointless animations, cause its fun to him, otherwise he woudl go nuts. Coding minigames? the same, its fun for him and sometime a distraction, give this out of hand and he will lose his passion pretty much in an instant, guranteed. We already were at that point, it the reason why DPC made the interlude, cause he was sick making BaD.
No it wouldnt make anything faster, and for sure not better... and it doesnt make any difference if the animations and renders slaves are his or someone others either. So really... hiring people wouldt help in any way, ONLY if they would be capable doing something DPC cant do. And thats the only reason why other DEV hire people... Overall it would more likely disturb his work flow very much and slow everything down even more.

but on this subject do his words have this much value? it seems normal to me that he 'tells' of a heavy and continuous commitment (I remember in an update he announced that he would be taking a week's break and emphasised the exceptional nature of it), any other version would be counterproductive
in the end he is like a worker paid by the hour (actually months)
