I don't get it, people want game with content, but hate the waiting? What do you expect? An episode every month with like 1 hour of gameplay? This shit takes time.
We have a lot of games that release content so fast, but it's not any enjoyable, or immersive etc

I like episode 9 or at least parts of it no it isn't prefect but I still enjoy it , we are one episode into season 3 not counting the interlude if episode 10 is bad then we got big problems if DPC is still unwilling to change

So lets use that info to remember that the vast majority of players here dont bother to comment and most of them appear to have liked the episode.

Right, but if you want to draw any conclusions from this poll, you'd need to establish a baseline to which you can compare the results. A 7/10 rating is a very poor result if the average for other episodes is 9/10.

An episode can also be considered good and disappointing at the same time. Objectively, Episode 9 is a decent episode, but I have seen virtually no one plaud it as the best one, which is counter to what you'd expect if increased update times correlated perfectly with better episodes.

But it is true, I'm not saying, it is bad, but it is nothing mind blowing or extraordinary, and definitely not fit to the "stayed for the plot", meme , in the defense of that, nothing fit to that , they are all Porn games, and nothing more.

it doesn't seem to me an exciting result... practically half of the players were sufficient or less than sufficient (not that 7 expresses much enthusiasm)

and we're not talking about just any game, but one that is considered the best, so in 90% of cases you haven't paid anything to play it

Well Perhaps Jill does "My destiny" and all that. But she is naive and takes her sweet ass time to get to that point. Zoey, likely, loves the MC more than Josy but knows she screwed up as she realised her feelings for him when she was away. So I am expecting a very emotionally charged scenario down the road and, perhaps, the pair can rekindle things properly. But, for most of the story, it seems that Josy is the one who loves him, openly, the most.

This week I started playing the episode and felt inspired to polish every scene along the way - to the extent that it became my main focus all week. I ended up doing lots of work that I had postponed for later, but the end result of many scenes is starting to show.
I worked on SFX/Music. Many sound effects were missing but have now been added. New songs and a healthy mix of re-used songs have been used.
I both trimmed and fleshed out the writing in different parts of the episode.
I ensured that the non-minigame route flows well in the parts where there usually are mini-games and got the optional needed code.
The non-minigame route can be tricky since a mini-game can add context to the story, and cutting it completely would feel lackluster for those who play without them. Making an alternative feature for this route, for example, the choice-based party planning in episode 9 and forward, is sometimes needed. But there's always this careful deliberation if it's acceptable to add something since the main purpose of the non-minigame route is that it should be focused on the story with few distractions.
Furthermore, I worked on a couple of clucks. One was demanding due to branching content and plenty of NPC interaction.
While polishing some phone content code, I decided to add something that's been in the back of my mind for a long time that I know many of you want. From start to finish, it took me roughly 8 hours to complete, which is way less than I had expected. And I think this preview of the feature can speak for itself.

Note that the Gallery is another new feature of Episode 10 and that it's not the Special Renders in the Rewards app you can use this way, but any image put in this new gallery. It will make sense when you play the game.
I'm trying to get my new PC up and running today. All parts are finally here for one of the upgrades, which will be a priority this weekend.
Whenever I swap PCs, they have to be brought up to a certain standard with software and files - so that they don't throw errors when rendering. This usually takes me 1-2 days to set up if everything goes smoothly. I'm still waiting for parts to build another PC to push things up yet another notch. But I have no news regarding this one yet.
My animation queue has 31 animations in it, and I will push on working with a mix of everything next week.
I played some episode 10 scenes for the first time this week, and they turned out so good that I can't wait to show you and see your reactions. Overall, I'm very pleased with the amount of branching this episode allows.
It's been a long wait, and there is still some time to go, but I am doing my best to make the wait worthwhile.

Despite the fact that he wrote a great post, it is rather uninformative and spammed with implicit and manipulative language. Okay, DPC, you're a master of manipulation, we get it.
First of all, it's unclear what he means by "polishing". I highly doubt that he reviews every render for errors and corrects them in photoshop. Most likely he adds and removes renders, adds the right lines of text somewhere for better context, fixes the frames. But really as other users( like @anonnyscouse) have pointed out it's too early. The only explanation is that he only polished a part of the game, which he is sure that he will not make edits to it in the future. Or he is manipulating again.
Secondly, really no one asked to make changes to the game phone UI at this late stage.It could have been done at the beginning of the next episode, but he did it now. Sure he could have been asked by a couple of his simps on his discord server, but most fans didn't care. This sounds like just another manipulation. He made up fan wishes and implemented them. It feels like he's really tired of the game, the characters, and is starting to do things like coding unnecessary elements just to avoid making renders. This is not really good, because such things are becoming more and more. I don't want to say it's a definite sign of loss of interest, but it's the first sign.
DPC, I've got an idea for you! Why don't you posr a pool on costumes or hairstyles of the girls, maybe some lewd scenes right into the game! That would be genius! Breaking the fourth wall during a fucking porn game! Kojima will applaud you! Plus, you can add online to the game and defeat the pirates you hate! Sure it'll take you a month to do it, but we've been asking for it for a long time!
And thirdly, of course, it's obvious that he's at a certain impasse. He's lucky that BG3 is coming out now and fans in general don't care about his game, they spend hours romancing ShadowHeart, and Starfield is coming out in September. If I were him, I'd take advantage of that and release the game at all in December right after Phantom Liberty comes out.
