In all fairness, Jill was the last-minute addition.

To fuck being fair, it was an addition I was vehemently against when DPC brought up adding a fifth main LI back in 2018.

My hate for her has always stemmed from pure pettiness. Even if she had somehow had the best character arc I would have hated her existence, which how surprising it is that she fucking doesn't.

I know there were originally supposed to be 4 MGs. He was clearly in a hurry and it seems that Jill in the game seemed to be separated from the rest of the universe - she was attached to Bella and no one else, and only over time begins to interact with the rest of the characters. Adding a new important character is a major change to the basic scenario, it cannot be avoided. But hate? No. Laugh at her naivety, creepy facial expressions and the way DPC mocks her fan base - yes.

Despite being hot there are hardly any guys after her (except MC and Tybalt). She lives in a frat where she's probably the only girl, and yet no other guy even looks at her. I'm sure DPC added her as an internal joke, the fact that she wears a hot bee dress when not on her path vs her wearing a fucking banana if you date her is the cherry on top.

I have always thought that Sarah's face is the one that looks most photorealistic in the game. The other girls generally look like 3-D characters, but her face looks more like a real person.

Also, this throwaway line from her made me like her a lot more than I thought I would for a side character.

Sage started out as the best girl (though I preferred Maya until she turned to Sad!MAYA). Then during season 2 she slowly dropped off more and more. It doesn't help that her first sex scenes were incredibly intense, and her later sex scenes were lackluster (especially her threesome, how do you fuck.up a threesome??). Combine that with the stupid, nearly unavoidable forced Jade drama and its pretty irritating.

This is a short update on the progress for this week.

I've mainly worked on fixing everything on the to-do list I wrote while playing the first initial runs. I posed new renders and around six new SFW animation files that were needed. When writing this, the render queue is down to 52 animation files.

I've also worked a great deal on music and sound effects by adding new sounds and calls in the code. The free-roam events needed polishing, and I worked on minor things like money/special render placements and bigger things like scene variations and phone chats/Rooster.

After completing the list of to-dos, I played a couple of extra playthroughs on Sage's and Isabella's branches and started writing a new to-do list.

I needed a small break from that kind of work and started fixing dialogue by parsing all the text of episode 10 instead. Dialogue, phone content, mini-game content - everything written was parsed and polished, which took me nearly three days using software as an aid. Parsing dialogue helps the upcoming proofreading process. I usually do this once per episode, and now it's done for episode 10.

Now, I'm back to playing the game again, and my focus next week will be looking into choices, consequences, affinities, and variations of scenes. I'll specifically look into extending and altering scenes that need it and ensuring that variations can be reached based on previous choices. I'll be playing a bit of every branch to cover as much ground as possible with this focus in regard.

Nevermind, this is bad news, at this rate the update will drop in 08/12. Well beyond even my pessimitic date on the 24/11.

If you punch Troy, it will backfire later and worsen your relationship with Bella. But this is not enough for her to refuse to let the MC stay at her house.

22 animations down. It was 68 two weeks ago, but:

So 52 animations left including this new 6 animations. Actually, good rendering speed.
