is this going to be another year long 'dev' cycle ? time to put all of this lore discussion effort into something more sensible
Or this was an additional incentive for Burke to “cut off her oxygen.” He really didn't like that rumors about free tuition being spread, and he did something about it in Ep.10. Of course, staying in HOTs after the incident would have been bad for Mona, but she could have just moved back to the dorms if she had stayed in college. I think she simply didn't have the money to pay for college and was forced to leave. ("free tuition" was her only option) So I'm sure Burke is the reason for her leaving. He protected himself for a while.I don't think it is exactly like that.
Mona refuses to have sex, or at any rate anything sexual, with Burke, but this does not seem to be an insurmountable obstacle at least from what we hear in the next day's dialogue with Quinn.
Mona's situation then becomes more complicated as she lets slip details of Quinn's affairs in front of Lily, becoming effectively unreliable.
I then think it's much more likely that Mona will be the one to leave, having by now at HOTs scorched earth, than being kicked out by Burke. Mona only finds out about the free tuition later, so a way to pay her tuition she should have already had.
once she leaves, it's normal for the scholarship to be cancelled.
it could be that it was Burke who pressured Mona directly or indirectly through Quinn, so he was the one who kicked her out, it's possible.Or this was an additional incentive for Burke to “cut off her oxygen.” He really didn't like that rumors about free tuition being spread, and he did something about it in Ep.10. It makes sense. And that makes Burke an even bigger asshole because he arranged for a student to be expelled to cover up his corruption.it could be that it was Burke who pressured Mona directly or indirectly through Quinn, so he was the one who kicked her out, it's possible.
but the money argument doesn't hold water. Mona doesn't know about the free tuition when she signs up for BR, she finds out when Quinn tells her and Maya about it, so somehow she had a way to pay it off already, a student debt or something.
Then it's so much money, it's only natural that she'd be interested.
going to the dorm would only solve part of her problems, the friendship with Camilla would still be over and living at BR as Quinn's unwanted would still not be easy.

I think you're confusing it with a HaremBurke is an arsehole. If I was in charge of a prostitution ring, I would make sure all my beautiful ladies were treated with lots of love and kindness, but I bet that's not what that bastard does.
How much does Burke/Quinn whoever charge for her???
I consider his role still quite vague. is he Quinn's boss or does he collaborate with her in exchange for some benefits (and are they both at the controls of this Priscilla)? It makes sense. And that makes Burke an even bigger asshole because he arranged for a student to be expelled to cover up his corruption.
Did he this through Quinn or by himself, he is a main villain in prostituting ring.
A number of times Quinn comes out of his office, clearly looking pissed. I doubt Quinn's bossing him around. Pretty sure, he's in charge or at least holds something over her.I consider his role still quite vague. is he Quinn's boss or does he collaborate with her in exchange for some benefits (and are they both at the controls of this Priscilla)?
for now what is certain is that he hijacks grants according to convenience.
That doesn't mean much, one can walk out of a meeting angry because one is disappointed, because one has just kicked someone's ass or because they have been kicked.A number of times Quinn comes out of his office, clearly looking pissed. I absolutely don't think Burke obeys Quinn, but they could both obey someone else, like this Priscilla who just popped up.
if after the surnames, DPC has decided that the next twists are on the names, the Nobel Prize for Literature is his., Priscilla is Quinn

I'm usually a sucker for alt/punk/rocker girls, asking with the childhood friend turned LI tripe in these games, and I do like Zoey, but somehow she's not even in my top 5 in this gameView attachment 3652972 View attachment 3652970 View attachment 3652971 Reminder that everyone needs a blue woman in their lives.![]()
Already got one, thanksReminder that everyone needs a blue woman in their lives.![]()
you dont sayWe're up to episode 10, and the development time keeps getting longer and longer, the chart below shows how many days each chapter has taken so far (we have no gauge for when chapter 1 was started so that's been excluded).

If we extrapolate that out to the projected 16 episodes that have been suggested...

...it'll be about 15 years before the game is done!
My calculations may be a little off, but episode development time is still increasing per episode, and at a minimum, I'm expecting a year per episode from now on.
In the past I would have justified why each recent episode has taken longer, but in the end, I think the developer is just milking it:
But none of the above is making the game "better", it's just making it bigger and dragging out development time.
- The animations are getting longer, and are of a higher frame rate.
- The renders are getting more detailed, and where 5 renders would have been cycled in a conversation between two people, now 20+ renders are being used for different expressions etc.
- More minigames are being designed and added.
