Maybe I am too harsh with Josy. It's because of episode 10. Josy only suggests MC being Maya's beard if she has the fresh memory of Chad using Sage as a beard. But it's not really fair to judge that so harshly.
There technically is another character who believes the HOT tuition rumour, but since Becky's other mental feats includes not understanding that twins have the same birthday it doesn't really make Maya look any better.
I admit that I give Maya some free passes because I can imagine the kind of despair and pressure she's under. It's a massive handicap to rational thinking. You could say that I should give Jill the same passes, but that really only applies to Tybalt's blackmail and she clearly starts learning that lesson from that point onwards. The problem is that she has known him for two years and everyone else is shown to understand Tybalt very quickly. The three prep freshmen for example.
Now Quinn was a good argument against Sage. Much better than Chad. But Quinn is a lot better at hiding her true self than Tybalt and unlike Jill Sage has no-one pointing out what Quinn is to her. So Sage is still smarter than Jill. However, another point against Sage is ironically the Tybalt and Jill situation. Sage should know better than anyone else that what Tybalt says about Jill being his soulmate is delusional bullshit. Sage should have been helping Jill deal with him from the start. I can only suppose that Sage assumed Jill couldn't possibly believe in Tybalt's BS and had to be his type of person. Jill's naivete fuelled Sage's cynicism and that is as I said massively ironic.
So maybe all four of them are about the same level. They have their moments. Both positive and negative ones.
Bella however has no flaws whatsoever.

I also produced four songs for the episode. It's a very odd feeling to work with Christmas music in September, but then again, Mariah Carrey will probably be playing all over later this month.
I've done a lot of post-processing this week. 300 static renders were rendered, and more than 150 renders remain in the queue.
After this week's effort, the animation queue is up to 44 animations.
I worked with some art for Rooster content. Overall, I'm still in the planning phase for the phone content, but I have started with it. And I will intermittently work with it when I feel like doing so.
Currently, I'm working on a long canon scene, ~100-150 renders in size, and I'm in the middle of doing environment design before I can pose the renders.
My plan for the near future is to continue working on canon scenes that have already been written and then focus on one main girl branch at a time. Jill's branched content is near completion. The other main girls remain, and I will work to balance the branches and content as well as possible.
Patreon changes
I have enabled annual billing on my Patreon page today. If you're not interested in paying once per year instead of every month, this will not affect you—all is well; carry on.

Last year he started posting clucks on twitter literally 3 months into the development cycle, he may have changed his workflow a bit and has started working on this later in the cycle, or perhaps him working on it now means we still have half a year or more of development ahead of us, no one can really tell but him.
