Thats why that throuple is so problematic. Maya's problems are so big they basically gobble up Josy's so she's behind all the other girls in terms of development. Which is crazy since she was the first girl we met.

I'm thinking it's one of those white-trash names:

She definitely won't have a white trash name lmao. But I'd still love her though :giggle::ROFLMAO:

Before the end of Episode 3, Josy's main drama was cheating on her "boyfriend" with MC, and running away from her problems. But those were resolved, and yeah she's left with nothing. Unless you're not in the throuple and she's still crazy for MC, all but ready to leave Maya

Why does an LI need to have drama? Josy's just the typical "girl next door", she doesn't need to be more than that.

She's not perfect, she has a fear of being lonely that borders on the pathological, which is why she tries to be friends with everyone, why she doesn't give her opinion and lets Maya and Fuckface decide whether the throuple will happen or not and why she takes the breakup so much worse than any of the other girls if you choose someone else.

But she doesn't need a huge backstory, she's just a normal girl that Fuckface got a crush on while working at a summer job, and she was crushing on Fuckface too.

Biased much? You are literally defining stupidity on the basis of who you like.

Well then let me counter:

-Sage: People who kept telling her Chad was gay but she wouldn't listen = zero. How is Sage stupid for not realising something no-one else realised either?

-Maya: A teenager who trusted that her father wouldn't betray her. She was unlucky in having an untrustworthy father, but if trusting your parents is stupidity, very few people can be called smart.

-Bella: There have yet to be ANY legal consequences for her relationship with MC. You are arguing that there should be, but even the real world doesn't work like that. People get away with things all the time. And since she is well aware of the risks her behaviour is simply reckless. She is taking a risk. It may lead to tragedy, but it may also lead to happiness. This is not stupidity.

-Josy: Well she is definitely insecure, but not stupid as such. Getting into a hobby so that her profile won't look basic is definitely something I wouldn't do. But if she actually likes what she finds and doesn't simply do it for the sake social media, how is it stupid?

Compared to this:

-Jill: People who understood what Tybalt was like within minutes = everyone else. Granted only Bella kept telling her so, but literally no-one else takes Tybalt at his word. This is stupidity. True she is not Arieth level stupid, but still more than any of the others.

Main Girl Smartness Ranks:

Bella>Sage>Maya>Josy>Jill
You need to rank Josy above Maya, no one is as stupid as her to fall for the free tuition scam despite warnings from both the Quinn and MC, Josy is very street smart, it was her idea to show proof to Arieth to save Maya's Ass from Quinn. Just because girl is some what insecure about her height means she is less smart than someone who really believed doing some weird bucketlist will secure them free tuition. Lol. And people keep blaming Jill for what Tybalt does, but never seen someone blaming Sage for all the power delegation to Quinn without any checking. Very much your Sage and Maya bias showing out here.

It's all Josy's got for backstory. We hear about her parents' divorce back in Episode 2, so at least there's a little more setup than Helen had. And I'm not sure I would categorize Tommy being her stepbrother a big reveal, but thats just my opinion.

Honestly I don't care about Priscilla. There's just so little to engage me.
If she's Quinn, that's dumb. If she's Madame Rose, who gives a fuck. If she's the blonde Quinn met with in Episode 10, who cares. If she's a totally never-before-seen character, meh.

If she's fuckable, then count me in ;):ROFLMAO:
A girl must be a fuckable character if not she can dissapear on the background for all I care:whistle:

But what if it is Yoga Girl?

If she is Yoga Girl then that settles it we are gonna make a fucking porn movie :devilish:

Take this man, you're going to need it.:coffee:

I was thinking Carol-Lyn, to make up for Gina...

:p

But the reason she needs drama is because BaD is a drama.

By real life standards, she's a fairly maintenance free, easy going, very cute girlfriend. But in this story, she's lacking the story's focus. Other characters have reasons to talk about them:
  • Bella has her mysterious past with James and her potential psychosis.
  • Maya has the controlling father and the loan that is dragging on for seasons.
  • Sage did have all that Chad shit, but also she's the president of the HOTs, so that keeps her in the stories focus.
  • Quinn has the whole drug scene that is slowly pulling the mc in, and all her other shit going on.
  • Jill has the dead sister, the fuckable mom, the potential link, through Bianca, to the mc's mom, the drama with Tybalt.
  • Riona has the whole "tragedy waiting to happen" vibe.
Josy is just too vanilla for a story that is driven by drama. I'm not saying she's a bad character, I like her for what she is, but most of her story is related to someone else: Tommy's sister, Maya's girlfriend.

And it's not that her character isn't defined, it is. We get to know a lot about her throughout the story. It's just that the story has no reason to focus on her. I mean, when does the story actually focus on Josy? It's pretty much when she's worrying about Maya, or when it's time to fuck her.

Carol-Lyn sounds like Evil-Lyn's sister lmao.

Oh boy, that fear of heights will come into play when MC and Josy fuck on top of the Eiffel Tower :ROFLMAO:

"Psychosis" is unwanted :cautious:
But "fuckable mom" is spot on ;)
