I've been working on canon scenes all week, some with branch-related content.
I've posed a handful of scenes of varied lengths and am currently halfway through a longer (120+ renders) scene.
To give you a sense of how much of the episode's development remains, here's a summary of what I can state after glancing through my files for episode 11.
Posed renders: 5269 (277 of which are in the render queue)
- Eleven canon scenes need art. Most of them have completed or partial writing.
- Two big free-roam events are almost complete. Both are lacking scenes with writing/art.
- A smaller free-roam event is needed. It's only planned at the moment.
- Three lewd scenes for main girls remain to create from scratch.
- Phone content needs plenty of work. It's rather bare-bones at the moment.
- The branches have remained mostly unchanged since last week. Except for Jill's branch, the other four branches need plenty of work. I cannot estimate how much, but this is the biggest remaining area.
- Music/SFX needs a lot of work.
- Mini-games are implemented and only need testing.
- Rewards, Scenes, and Pack Quest are implemented and only need testing. Some special renders need to be placed in canon story scenes.
- I have yet to play the majority of the episode, and things may increase the size of this to-do list. Depending on how I feel after playing the episode, more canon scenes or branched scenes may be needed.
Posed animations: 306 (39 of which are in the render queue. The count is not exact as some animation files may be merged)

This week, I've been working on art, post-processing art, and writing. At the moment, I'm writing some scenes for a smaller hangout for which I'll soon continue to create art.
I'm up to 5841 static renders today, and for those who keep count, episode 10 had 5868, meaning I'm about to tangent that number very soon.
I've posed 305 animations (counted after merging animation files); episode 11 had 335 animations, and I will exceed this with the remaining lewd scenes.
So, the question that comes to mind right now is how much bigger the episode will get.
I scanned through my dialogue files and spreadsheets, trying to make an updated checklist for what's left to do, and here is what I concluded.
Unfinished writing
Unfinished art
- A hangout.
- Conclusion to a bigger branched scene.
- 11 scenes in a big free-roam.
- Parts of the ending.
- 5 canon story scenes.
- A small free-roam event.
- 3 lewd scenes.
- A couple more scenes for Sage's branch.
- A small scene for Jill's branch.
- Multiple scenes for Isabella's branch.
- Multiple scenes for Josy's & Maya's branch.
- Others' branch needs more analysis before I can say how much more is needed. It has content, but because of the many girls included under the umbrella of this branch, it's tough to say if it's enough at this point.
SFX & Music
- Renders and animations for all of the above.
- Renders and animations for 8 other scenes that have already been written.
- Some more SFW animations may be needed on top of this.
Coding & other tasks
- SFX & Music for all of the above, the rest of the episode should be close to completion.
After all this comes the polishing and beta-testing process.
- Rooster might need another cluck or two, but otherwise, it's completed. I'm undecided at this point and need to play the episode to get a feel for it.
- The phone gallery needs more art.
- Phone chats have content but need some more.
- A few special renders must be placed in the episode or added to the Vault. It's fast work, and I will do it as I play the episode.
- Vault digits need to be placed.
- End of episode report needs to be written.
- The credit section needs to be updated near beta testing.
My thoughts on all this
Frankly, I feel stressed because, looking at this, I know I won't be able to deliver any time soon, and this month has been hectic for me. There's still lots of work left for this episode to be complete, and nothing of the above can or will be cut.
It's a bit scary thinking about how many renders are left to pose, and PCs have never been idle since last December, so I know art can't be produced faster than it is.
The episode's story and my ambition to make the episode great for you have caused it to become this huge. But I also acknowledge that I've come extremely far with the development and that the episode limits are well-defined with minor exceptions. I will push on to complete the checklist above as fast as I can without rushing.
All in all, I love what I have produced and played so far. There are so many scenes and moments in this episode that I've dreamed of creating since day one of this project.
To be clear, we are nearing the end of the development cycle; it's just that the end of development this time around is much bigger than it normally is.

Well if you compare these tow postings, it is clear that there is still lots of work to do. I do expect a ~7k render update. And that would mean it's a banger with around 1h playtime for each branch. No so much for the fap-ctrl ppl.
Right now to many ppl. jerk each other off about a "releasedate in April to August"
I am still not convinced, that no update will drop this year for 2 reasons:
It is 10 weeks till end of the year or better "last Friday in December". I suspect he works more than 40h per week, probably 50-60. That would mean that still 500-600h are open.
1. Renders are faster created as were last episode. Since we do not have any duration we can't predict animations. Considering that the hardest renders are made during big roams with many ppl. and that there are still 11 scenes to make (not necessarily with many ppl. in it) there is no prediction really possible.
2. Everything that does not belong to the unfinished writing section and beta-testing/fixing is work for 1,5 weeks (or around 60 working hours) at max considering it is DrPC. -> stuff for Christmas
But honestly: I do not care when the update will drop exactly, I can wait. And it's the GOG realease for Season 3 what I am waiting for

if he will split 11th, it will be a massive godlike slam dunk. with 10th senseless filler drama previously. and nail in the players coffin after - interlude part 2.people say februar, that would be 14 months in total, almost 15 months. that mean 10 months = 66%
66 is everything just not near to the end.
i have two idea why.
1 patreons are now happy, patreons dont get frustration, dpc wont lose patreon now. later asking sorry is eazy
2 if he really want break the update in two parts, it will help him. "sorry guys, update is too big, i cant finished in this year. but from now, i will break it for two parts, so you will get content in every year."
what is very good for him, because that guys who upscribe to patreon only for one months per update will do it for two times per episode. plus, 2 year/1 episode -> more money
nah... why would he make his patreons feeling bad with a januar release, if he can release in december with bugs and make path in januar?

I have lived in a place where forced prostitution is not something that you hear on your couch halfway across the world, I have seen first hand how fucked that shit is, so anyone like Quinn who takes advantage of dreams of people is sub-human to me and the world would be better without them, and it pisses me of you can't fuck her over "yet".You'll change idea soon, probably. p.s. I just started playing it so you guys probably have a better view of that "Things" character, but I can't imagine what character traits can excuse such horrible stuff

I have never made any negative comments about the game or Dr. Pinkcake. He blocked me on Discord just because I said the Josy/Maya path was beautiful. Do you think this is normal behavior? He could have given a warning first instead of blocking. I follow a lot of games on Patreon and Discord. I have 3-4 games that I support financially. I have never been banned from any of them.

That's an absurd reason for ban and I don't see what's wrong here.
It is none of his business what third-party BaDIK communities his patrons participate in, which he doesn't control.
Continuous work on the game for years didn't have the best effect on his mental state; the guy has long needed a psychologist.

NO OMG here (there is only one sorority when the game starts, the HOTs) and she is studying on B&R and this is her third year (you can decide if she is a HOT)
