What does that equate to in static renders and animations? How many branches? How many minigames?
Imagine make the worst minigame in the game 1000 in a row daily

Branches... A lot, and almost all of them had a bad ending (more than a half of friends from the first years got expelled), but I reached a good one (not the best, but a good one)

Renders and animations... I can't count them , many good memories and some traumas, but they weren't worse than this one:

first time playing this game, gotta say, i don't very much care for the porn now, I just want Jill, .... and Bella, .... and Zoey, my top 3 LIs. Are there any other AVNs like this out there? There's Projekt: Passion that makes me focus on the plot more than the sex scenes, but other than that, nothing much.
Have you tried Artemis and Eternum?

If I'm not mistaken this game is under development since 2018... The indie game developer Warhorse studios announced 2 tripple A open world RPGs since then... Milking money with patch per year becomes a habit here... With this tempo... I'm not sure that the developer will be alive to finish the game... just saying...
we really won't compare the two games level of difficulty, right? Because KCD is 250 times harder to do... however... Тwo generations of bachelors have taken their diplomas and their lives into their own hands, while the main character is still a freshman. I'm worried sick that they won't be alive to see the main character graduate as well. If you catch my drift...
It's probably easier to compare apples with apples.

The idea of posing and rendering every single image for every single frame (of course many are reused) can't really be compared with creating a game engine. And while KCD is one of my favourite games ever, and I so am hanging out for KCD2, there's no point comparing it with this game.

A better comparison would be to compare it with all the other games on this site. And on that note, this is rated the 8th best game on the site, the developer has already completed a game prior to this, and it's clearly quite a momentous achievement in this industry.

Plus each release isn't a "patch" it's a new episode, an episode that takes about a year to create, with the developer actually working quite long hours (by his own admission). He unfortunately has a propensity for trying to include more and more each episode, and not always in line with what people here might want, but the game is still of a very high quality within this industry.

And as long as he continues to expand the story, and it's entertaining, it's no different to a TV season or something like that. It doesn't necessarily ever have to finish, although I believe there's only 6 more episodes to go (based on previous discussions from the developer).

And at roughly a year per episode, if you're worried about people dying in the next 6 years, maybe you should be focusing on their health rather than whether they'll get to see the end of a porn game...

Because Josy and her are friends, and it's not just a DIK party, it's a HOTs party, and Josy's a HOT, and Tybalt is having a prep wankfest at the mansion, and Josy invited her. So she said, "Fuck it, I'ma wear a bee outfit and make that cunt Fuckface realise just how much he fucked up by not going on that picnic! Fucker!"
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If there's enough reasoning, how can it feel forced?

Josy invited her to the BBQ too.
Her and Josy being friends is stretching it quite a bit. They met at the library a few times. They're acquaintances. There's a reason that Jill had to call Bella to be there. I get that there was an invite but her being spontaneous for the sake of the story without any buildup feels forced.

Basic first impression that doesn't go away, shallow interpretation, dislike of the character creating a bias, etc. "Oh why would prissy, preppy, sheltered, snobby, stick up her ass Jill go to a roaring frat bro party filled with sex and booze? She should be at home reading a book like he fucking nerd she is :KEK:"
Im more arguing motivation then anything negative about my thick princess. If she wants to be there in a slutty bee costume, do so, just need a realistic reason for it.

She wasn't just being spontaneous, here's the low down:

Josy and Jill actually are friends, Maya even mentions to Sage that Josy likes Jill. Also remember that time when Jill confided in Josy that she's feeling conflicted about the mc dating others after the Tybalt dick pic photo bomb? So I'm gonna accept they are friends.

Jill mentioned the invite to Bianca who was very keen to slut it up at the party, and while Jill said Bianca didn't talk her into it, Bianca probably talked her into it.

Jill also was happy to have an excuse to escape the Preps wankfest. Although she could have just hung out with Bella anyway.

And to be honest, even if shit didn't work out with the mc, he has helped bring her out of her shell a bit. So going to the big Halloween party on campus, like the only big Halloween party on campus, isn't some batshit crazy thing for a girl to do. Especially when she was invited by a friend, and was coerced by other friends, and was glad to avoid Tybalt's pretentious shit.

It's definitely enough to suspend disbelief.

She wanted an excuse to avoid the Prep's party. Jill and Josy became friends in economy class (we didn't see it happen but Josy told us they were friends way back in the library revision scene) and Bianca had been bugging Jill to get her into a DIKs party because of their reputation (as Bianca told us at the Halloween party), so when Josy mentioned the DIKs Halloween party Jill saw the perfect opportunity to avoid the Preps party and get Bianca into a DIKs party.

we see it. we see Josy showing up at her first lesson and asking Jill for information.

however, the friendship between the two girls has a motivation outside the story, that of, just as in the case of the Halloween party, having a reason to involve Jill in activities in which she would otherwise remain excluded

too bad that the only interesting moment, the scene in the bathroom after Tybalt's speech, of the relationship between the two girls, besides not being canon, is now forgotten.

in addition to having little in common, Jill and Josy get to know each other even under the worst of circumstances, Josy discovers that while MC is avoiding her he is arranging a date with Jill of all people, and Jill has to accept that a big part of MC's motivation on her first date is just not thinking about Josy and Maya. absolutely not the best premises, especially between girls.

One question what did you like about Zoey. For me her character is not yet flesh out compare to the other main LI

Broken Promise try this one it's not the same as BaDIK but it has good story telling

Thing about character being "fleshed out" is, it can also make said character less appealing, as you learn about them and maybe realize you don't like their personality, traits etc.

Zoey's character is more than fleshed out in her Interlude. I'd say if anything, she gets more coverage than the main LIs who only show up in the main game and don't get their own episodes.

Im not the poster but i think Zoey is awesome because:

- She saw the MC's "potential" already when he looked and behaved like a weird emo loner and had no friends

- She literally educated him on how to become a normal guy and helped him to connect with people (her friends)

- She gave him loooooots of confidence, nobody comes even close to shaping the MC as much as Zoey but Neil. Third would be sage but theres a huuuuuuuuuuge gap.

- she feels very real in a sense of having her own wishes/dreams/desires and being conflicted/immature at a young age but develops a lot between what we saw from her in the flashbacks and how we see her now. I think its more realistic than all girls always dropping everything for a mc of an avn

- shes hot and pretty

- she came back, apologized and is happy with what she can get (in terms of mc's attention) and aware that she fucked up

That like the in world reasons why i like the character. But i think Zoey furthermore is awesome to display the MC's growth and development even when the MC will just stay friends with her.

I loved the part in EP10 when they talked at the campfire. The difference in tremolo's behavior when he sat there silently and grumpy like a little bitch at the trainstation or only ever gave her "fake"-replies to her messages ..

... compare that to know when he told her (with a lot of confidence) that he thought back than that she would be the one for him and them sharing their lifes together. The MC from today wouldnt have just let her leave without saying anything about his thoughts, desires or wishes.

He would have expressed his feelings and desires. And all of this imo was awesome to show how far the MC has come over the story.

Let's ask a question to all of you. How many of you have attended to a party/event outside of your comfort zone just because you want to blend, to make friends and/or to experience something new? Because I did

In the past i was very socially awkward and i had to force myself to make things outside of my comfort zone and Jill going to the Halloween party is a thing my young self would do, trying to blend and having a good time, so I'm team 100% Jill here

So, even though the mc was just playing the field at that time, those two girls particularly were getting some seriously strong feelings for him, so yeah, not the best of time for them to become friends.

Still, all in all, I think it was handled fairly well. The mc skirts around committing to any of these girls for a while as their circle around him gets closer and closer and they all begin to form friendships. We have all the LIs except Sage at the recital (and I think that's when the mc realises he's been fucking around a bit too much). It kinda works, and it's more interesting than when they all existed in separate bubbles.

I am not convinced, certainly it is a great facilitation for DPC which otherwise would have already broken through the 2-year limit per episode.

for the rest I don't know, in the end it's just for Jill and to get her to participate in student activities to which it was enough to make her less “weird” so that she didn't need an excuse for being there.

the fact that they are all involved in solving Maya's problem, besides making them all look dumber, generated that terrible “all for Maya, Maya for all” scene.

I accept it, it serves, but I don't see it as having any particular merit.

Do you think the dream sequence is going to be a nothingburger and the ominous music played is just DJ PinkCake being tone deaf?
there are 6 chapters so we are expecting several random twists and turns with little meaning. so that scene cannot fall on deaf ears.

i don't have a problem with Jill's presence IN GENERAL. just that in the end all these ramifications lead to the same scenes, and that remains a flaw, not a huge one.

that Jill wants to go to her first party just on halloween is fine, that she wants to go even though she just dumped the host of that party, or was dumped by him, already is less fine.

But the problem of lack of empathy is fairly generalized in AVNs

Oh you misunderstand me, I mean it's a good setup for the next DnG game. :p

> Be me.
> Get a song featured in B.A.D. stuck in your head.
> Don't know the name of it.
> Scour youtube for an hour looking for it.
> Give up.
> Try again in-game the next day.

Or be me:

I actually had the playlist playing in the car a while back and my young daughter liked the music and looked it up... (yep, that happened...)

She was like, "Dad, that music you were listening to, it's totally from some x-rated game". And I was like, "Wow, what a surprise", and she was like, "Phew, I thought you might be playing it!".
