Serious answer: no, he is working full time on this game, but he is a solo player and won't hire anybody to speed up the development.

He can afford it because he has a fanbase willing to continue supporting him on Patreon no matter how long the development takes.

1) objectively is one of the best written AVN, with both a plot and renderings above the average of AVNs

2) as objectively as previous point, DPC spends a lot of rendering time on 60fps animations and cutscenes nobodys cares for but himself, and coding time on boring minigames (some of which unskippable) and free-roams, which can be great on the first run, but they are just boring grinding on the replays to follow other branches (or to refresh the player's memory between one release and the next)

3) the joke about his job as a manatee caregiver was because the most unarousing character he keeps spending time on is dubbed "the oily manatee" on this forum

all that's happened so far has basically happened over the course of approximately 12-14 weeks.

14 weeks is 1 semester (without finals), if we want to be realistic, which I, for one, don't.
This is why the timeline can be weird: 2 semesters would be (14+6)x2 weeks for: 14 weeks for period of diligence, and 6 weeks for finals. At least that's how we do it in Hungary, I don't know about Sweden or the USA.

Bella/Jill is a weird one for me, it's going to happen at some point and probably have the option on both Bella and Jill path but they need to play out different.
