There is also the fact that the nerdy girl in college themed stories is a common trope, yet here DPC gave us 100 women and none that fit that trope outside of Karen and Sally and those are barely teased so far. It almost feels like he is trolling at this point and I would not be surprised if he never adds anything canon, just to screw with people.

tried doing this after your suggestion, but still get the same errors. I've already played through 8.2 and really enjoyed the game, which is why I'm trying to download season 3 but keep getting blocked by these errors.
I did have the same issue previously, in my experience this happens when there was an interruption during the download that cause a corruption in the game file. There is also an instance when finished downloading the game but did not extracted the file immediately sometimes the pc had some viruses that corrupt the file.
I don't think so because the appdata folder will be created by starting the game. If i'm correct which right now i'm not very sure
switched to another laptop i had lying around and managed to download and extract the patch zip with no apparent issues. am dowloading the main game zip now hopefully it all goes well
that's also a possibility I guess, don't know why there would be an issue there but then agaiin the laptop i use for games is pretty old and not that good so it could be that some part of it just doesn't like these files or has issues when working the %appdata% folder

If I remember correctly it was 14-16 episodes. Considering it's taking a year or more to make one. Completion is years off.
