Intresting so DPC started of here.What was he like before the fame/sucess?This is not to slam anybody here, but this will be forever funny to me. Small time indie dev gets his start on F95, has a good product and the people love him. He gets bigger and bigger, and with the money is pouring in, he earns enough to make this his full-time job. He leaves this place in the dust, acting like he doesn't owe the people here a thing. Grows more successful as time goes on, while everyone here grumbles about him, shouting into the void about how his current business practices are going to cost him, and that they stopped supporting him. This site has been in his rear view mirror for a very long time, and to top it all off, he isn't appreciative of his legitimate paying customers either.
And he still rakes in the dough, no matter what. Funniest part is all of this applies to more devs than just DPC too

Likely reason is that you mentioned having played ep 10, but your patreon tier was too low to have legit access to it. They are merciless with stuff like that, even in cases like yours with your long time support. If you genuinely bought the game and then dropped to a lower tier, see if you can plead your case to one of his admins. If you did pirate, then I’m afraid you straight outed yourself on his server. Sucks, but there it is.

I can't remember, I sometimes did get the game through patreon and sometimes from here, and Patreon being shitty I can't go further back than may of 2024. Would they go into FBI mode and watch every paiement history of any person saying they played the game ? They like to lose their time

i got blocked a year or so ago with no reason.. only communication id had was to ask him prior to this about how to do renders as was considering doing a VN too as im a writer with several pieces of work that would be very VN friendly if i had any kind of ability to use daz or similar editors.. next log in i recieved the block.. i love his work and his dedication to the writen narrative but like his titled piece he is a DIK and a self absorbed one at that

best thing is i was also in contact and supporting digi b (Artemis) and drifty (leap of faith) and Ocean (summer gone) at the time and had asked similar questions.. each was more than happy to provide tech help even tho they didnt owe me anything and were very open and friendly about the matter and supportive

I think it's more that you have a spotlight on you if you're a newby in the channel and talking about playing the latest episode. If DPC happens to be checking chat and sees that, sees you're a lower tier, it doesn't take a lot to check whether you bought the latest version. It's overkill, in my opinion and being insta-blocked is rude. It particularly gets to me when long time supporters like you mention that they have been summarily blocked without even an explanation (I think you're owed that, at minimum, as a paying subscriber). agreed as i was also a mid tier supporter at time of banning.. in uk £'s i was about £20 a month as it was my min/only funded title at the time.. I was also a frequent commenter and user here so your theory holds weight

DPC has problems also to give more details about his hardware setup, and I don't know that information would damage him. Meanwhile I had some developers that offered me free advices in case I would like to try DAZ, after I asked the a simple question, and told me to contact them again in case of need. There are people writing their precise DAZ settings to fan art creators, or giving out the DAZ configuration files used for their VN. Then we have DPC who disclose nothing and bans people who post fan art of BaD. The guy is really eccentric.
Holy fuck I really don't know if you people are all so plenty of money that can justify spending 20 GBP for a single game EACH MONTH. Man I pay 5 Euro/month for my cellphone with 30GB data usage, I pay 24 Euro/month for 1Gbps Internet connection and so on, but 240 GPB/year to play a game a few days a year? It seems a bit not competitive as price. Lower tiers like 1 or 3 euros have more logic.
Also, if we stay in the software department, there are open source projects that give their useful products away for free and don't even make 1500 Euros a year in donations. If I were to support projects I would go first for those that are in more need (and more if they also release useful stuff for free to everybody).
