I dunno what's the 'ick' with free roams some people seem to have. Is it because you just want to masturbate so non-lewd parts of the game in general bore you? Is it because you spam-click to progress as fast as possible and then can't figure out what to do in these free roams? Is it because you don't like parties and would rather sit cooped up in Maya's dorm instead and watch some movie? Just curious, not trying to judge.

So far we had only 5 parties right?

There's nothing inherently wrong with free roams. What I didn't like is Episode 9's Halloween party. Especially during replays you'll notice how drawn-out it is. That's not to say that free roams are at fault, it's that the entire episode is just one big free roam which isn't ideal in a visual novel. Episode 9 is filled with content but despite all of that it'll remain known as one of the weakest episodes and biggest letdowns amongst the community because it's repetitive.

You're missing the party when Cathy's picture was leaked. I think that was the first one.

I can agree that putting a Sage sex scene in there wasn't very smart. Like you said, it's impossible to predict.
But the rest are consequences of your decisions.

I like the free roam sections. They break up the traditional format keeping me engaged. Adding the quick navigation menu was a big win. I've played other AVNs that were straight VNs & I get so bored just clicking through that I eventually just skip through until I hit a major event. Whether it's a sex scene or a choice. But I lose interest.

I don't like sandbox games. But I like most of the elements of BAD. Maybe it's because it's the first AVN I've ever played that my tolerance is high for game mechanics that turn me off with other games. Maybe it's the quality. No clue. This game has so many variables & variations of different scenes. I doubt I've seen half the content.

Yeah it is weird. I just deleted the folder after uninstalling, maybe there was something left behind that didn't get cleaned and so a complete fresh reinstall might fix that.

I keep hearing this but never saw it confirmed, so I checked the status updates and polls leading up to Episode 7. The closest I saw was an animation poll where groping and titty sucking won, and what a coincidence! Those are Madame's first two lewds
But when he released Madame Rose's wallpapers, he only said she's "someone new", with no reference to her creation or whatever. So I guess in a roundabout way the patrons did vote for Madame Rose

Could've easily been for any of the established big-boobied women in the game, like Bella, or Sage, or existing Pink Rose girls like Brandi or Sandy, but nooooooooooooo, we had to get a whole new character

First of all, my main and only source about Madame's origins is f95zone
The version I have read at least twice was:
- DPC creates a poll about what kinks his patreon would like to see in BaDIK
- The winner was the option "mature women"
- Next episode, Madame appears for the first time

I didn't hate any free roam the first time I played it. The problem is when you have played them for the third time and your eyes start to bleed. For example, the Halloween party, even in the most optimized path until episode 8, you have to play it AT LEAST five times (Jill, Bella, Sage, J&M and Others) and this is really annoying

Remind me about the Carolyn thing, that was just a fan thing right? Because I checked the code and neither name are in the first two seasons (beyond that one mention of a possibly unrelated Gina in Episode 5), she is just an unnamed character until Episode 9.

Someone mentioned it to me a while back and I had a hard time buying that anybody actually likes Madame Rose. From further questioning, I found out that the person was referring to a poll where people voted for more "fetish and MILF content". There really isn't a poll where anyone would've explicitly voted for more Madame.

I don't have issues with them, but I can understand people who find then annoying - starting with season 3 and 5 different paths, you have to replay the event 5 different times

I think quality of the game would remain the same if free roam events were regular scenes, with different variables depending on choices, but to each his own I guess

I found the addition of this Yoga Girl in EP.10 very strange. She doesn't even have any lines, why did the DPC only add her now? She is deadly gorgeous. She should have been added earlier, she could easily compete with the main girls.

I think the simple answer is, he wanted a Yoga scene and instead of creating a new character he thought it would be better to use one he already created. Same as with Micha when Rusty needed a LI.

She has a line. She askes where she knows the MC from if you swiped her on Swyper.

Looks like DPC already decided to introduce Madame and just let his patreon choose what kind of lewd act she was going to perform.

But just asking for what kind of act they wanted without mentioning a new character, he somehow tricked them in thinking "hey we chose her".

Something like an illusory choice in a magic show.
