Fave episodes.

The Episode where Josy and Maya accept MC as a throuple.

Sage: EP10 (Episode 8-9 goofed her path, 8 if you don't do things right you get NOTHING in EP8. EP9 Prison sex only with no other options. EP10 it confirms that Sage loves MC very much. Amazing.

Bella: Too many to list (although again EP10 prison sex should have been optional). Many episodes you see she is willing to give things a chance. She is an amazing woman and worth it.

Jill: Again, too many to list. It is beautiful that Jill has found a boyfriend. For all that it is amazing. She is enduring in her own way.

Nicole: Again, too many to list. You have to have a Nicole path of saves because in EP8&9 you will starve on the Sage route. In 8&9 you get better action with her than Sage. Nicole is worth it if MC understands the gigantic obligations of being involved with someone that has kids. It is a big deal and requires the knowledge that the mother will endure the pain of not being involved if it affects her relationship with her child.

Lily: Multiple episodes but EP8 Lily has a special look about her when looking at MC. ("Wow. Is this real?"). She will take time and EP10 where she is willing to sleep in the tent: part of her is pretending she is not in love with MC. But I think that decision is made.

Jade: Multiple episodes with her are good. EP9 there is a hint at the dinner table that MC is more than entertainment. With her divorce, MC could be there for her and make her truly happy.

Rio: EP10. Finally. A build up to where she discovers multiple guys have banged her, but only one: One that she really likes, cares about her. She deserves this kind of happiness. I am here for it. I do wish for EP10, she did sleep in the tent with MC. A place she has never been before. Someone sincerely cares for her.

Kathy: EP10 for sure. This could end up to be real feels. Maximum worth it all the way.

Quinn: The hangout in EP7? The start of something good in her messed up world. I hope there is a redemption arc for her. In her own way, if she loved you, you know it would be real.

Nora: EP10. I hope this resolves. She would be just as amazing if she was plain looking with a beautiful smile...in regard to the story arc.

During the HOTs party, when you have the option to rat on Tommy, you get DIK points for telling Heather, but lose them if you keep your mouth shut. Is it just me or does that seem a little backwards?

Wouldn't telling the truth feel more in line with a CHICK? I get that you're betraying Tommy, and that it isn't your business, but keeping his secret about being plus three seems more DIK-ish. Lying to Heather means Tommy can continue to bang other chicks with impunity, and you're putting family first. Idk, feels a little off. Maybe there shouldn't have been any status points tied to the choice, just the variable.

I wonder if spilling the beans, in addition to spilling your milk on Heather, will have any consequence in Episode 11 other than Tommy being extra pissed.

At first, I felt the same but when I was playing through ep 10 and got to the yoga scene with Heather I thought perhaps it was because the action can be construed as completely selfish and not altruistic as I initially believed. I don't remember the scene by heart but I recall Fuckface's words to Heather seeming like he didn't care about the consequences. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The most important part is Tommy must know MC is the one who told Heather, is there anyone besides Heather who knows that MC ratted him out? If not, then it wouldn't have any consequence; Heather won't betray MC like that; her relationship with Tommy also reached the end; she has had enough of his bullshit.

I only remember MC had a conservation with Nick but can't tell Nick know MC ratted Tommy

I'm also recalling before the HOTs party it's implied pretty heavily that Tommy doesn't appreciate any of his DIK brothers tattling on him to Heather when it's made known that Nick told her about his cheating once before.

Maybe you can trust Heather to not reveal it was you (and Nick), but can't be sure. And Tommy doesn't like it if someone rats on him (even though he got a threesome out if it), but this fucker can't even respect the DIK secret code. No doubt he'd throw a bitch fit if someone broke it against him.
«To betray in time is to anticipate» :cautious::WeSmart:
Sounds like something Quinn would say... after hearing it on TV :KEK:

The only things that Tommy likes are pussies and drugs if you ask me, he would end MC life if he found out. Tommy the devil is not only the nickname :devilish:

I could say that Divine Quinn reads the philosophers, Socrates, Plato, Nietzsche and Machiavelli in the original, and learned from them. :cautious:
But that's not true. :cautious:
In fact, they were all learning from the Divine Quinn. :cautious::WeSmart:
Her Divine Wisdom is beyond time and space. :oops:o_O:love:

Keeping Tommy's secret is clearly a CHICK choice. This choice is a representation of trust. Tommy told MC about having sex with Tania without a second thought, showing great trust in MC and all the DIKs present at the time.

When Heather asks MC about him possibly knowing something, what does MC immediately think? "(Family comes first... right?)" Heather is not MC's family, Tommy is.

Telling Heather about Tommy's secret shows that MC is untrustworthy and that he is a terrible DIK brother, since he doesn't follow their code.

If Heather were someone close to MC, we might look at this dilemma differently, but up until this point in the game Heather has been nothing but arrogant and dismissive towards MC.

That's where you get to these tougher decisions, and I love them. It's not black and white with what the good answer is, as it depends on perspective.

Sure it's the "bro code" to lie for him. But lying is wrong. So honesty would lean towards the Chick side, you would think. But what if you know your lie is actively hurting someone, whether they are nice to you or not. The Chick route, is generally nice/good, but either way someone is being hurt.
  • By lying, you are enabling Tommy's actions and behavior to further hurt Heather. That's kind of a Dik move.
  • By treating Heather nicely and honestly, even if she's rude/mean. That's more of a Chick move.
I guess it really boils down to what perspective you take between the two of them. I haven't done any Dik playthroughs recently, but if you are truthful she really starts to open up and come around to the MC. I don't recall any fallout from Tommy either... yet. It can't readily be pinned on MC, as he doesn't even go out of his way to try and hide what he does.

My best guess is that you didn't delete the persistent file in the automatic backup folder for Ren'Py games.

If you are on Windows, that folder is:

C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\YourGameNameHere-weirdNumberHere

You have to delete also this folder to do a properly clean install.

If you don't, you will see your old saves even if they are no more in your "game\saves" folder, and most of all, your old persistent file will still be effective. If something was corrupted in it, that's going to cause you problems.
Well I was still having that problem but I figured out what the problem really was.

Turns out the Steam version doesn't have Season 3 out yet. That's why I kept getting those errors.
