Beta testing always lasts a minimum of two weeks, so February 28th seems to be the earliest possible date of release. Given that DPC has enough time to do a very thorough playtesting run right now, I hope it doesn’t exceed this time frame by much. The previous release underwent three weeks of beta testing due to a high number of reported errors, so hopefully, this won’t be the case for this episode.

F sake year and half for update + AAA game dont take so much and dont cost such money XD[he shuld pause patreon until update ]
triple A games have a full staffed studio, a budget limit and deadlines.
we have here a single person who is doing everything on his own and nobody is forced to give him a fucking penny.
im glad that people give him cash, because otherwise there wouldnt be a game at all.

Lmao DPC just inverted the colors on the dress Sally wore at the dorm party for this random chick in the Stephen flashback. Did he think no one would notice? Or maybe I'm supposed to wonder if that's Sally Sr. :KEK:

You know what instaed of playing AL, am going to do a re-run of season 3 to all the path
i would vote to AL if you still didnt did any run but your choice
If you compare AL to BAD, how long will it take for me to finish AL. Is it comparable to one season of BAD
one run one night

This week, I started by playing Others' and Isabella's branches. I feel very good about how the different playthroughs of the episode feel.

I've also played with a focus on mini-games and balancing the party planning mini-game. Then, I focused on replaying all the lewd scenes; although three scenes were missing animations, I could polish most of the content.
3 Madam scene, huh? MGs has only 2. Madam is the true MG.

last beta took just a week.
Last beta for EP10 started between 13th or 15th November 2023, that is what he wrote in his last status update on 17th November 2023. Episode 10 was releases on 8th December 2023.
That's 23-25 days. A week should be 7 days AFAIK. I'm not a Nobel Prize in Mathematics but I think 23 days is more than three weeks. 7x3=21 AND 23>21 (correct me if I'm wrong). So BETA testing for Episode 10 took actually more than 3 weeks, not "just a week".
Please notice that, also according to ChatGPT, 3 = 1 + 1 + 1.

Not that i'm expecting it to happen, February is technically still possible. I vaguely recall DPC had previously mentioned that beta cycles take about 2 weeks. If the animation is on track for Feb 7, and beta starts right away as DPC said so we add 2 weeks to that, we are at Fri Feb 21. And if animation goes a little beyond Feb 7, there's still Fri Feb 28.

Bur realistically speaking, you just might be right.
This episode recycles old mini games but has more complicated free roams and it's fair to expect EP 11 to take around the same time of Beta testing. Two weeks could be possible if the most problems of EP 10 were the new mini games, of course. Free roams are not that complicated in the code itself, but continuity bugs can surface.

I also bet on 14 February. I think DPC is trying to create an illusion of overdelivering.
Everyone will expecting a release on February 21st or 28th. But he will release it on the 14th.
No chance, if the animations don't finish till the 10/02, Beta testers are not getting it till the 11/02. Two weeks minimum testing puts us to 25/02....

Any kind of Feb release has now sailed.

Actually if you think about it, Madame only has one scene in the entire game. You just unlock more content for it.

But which character has the most actual content? Sage had two scenes in ep 10 but Bella's one scene is at least twice the content of those scenes put together. So in terms of renders and animations rather than scenes, who gets the most attention from DPC?

ElectronicRoberts is your guy, see this post he made a while in the back.
I also remember someone analysed the lines of dialogue for each character since EP1, and there was a table with statistics. I don't remember if it was ElectronicRobers again.

Anyone who reads "Assuming the average render speed stays the same, the PCs should be done with the animation queue on February 7-9 at the latest" and thinks that a February release is even remotely possible is crazy. Firstly, per the laws of the universe, "February 7-9 at the latest" means there is no chance it finishes before February 9. February 10-11 is itself optimistic. Secondly, is the thought that by the time the animation queue is finished everything else is also going to be finished? I don't think there is any reason to believe that. I'm sure DPC will find plenty of things to add/remove/change/playtest between now and then. Thirdly, what about beta testing? Zero-shot that takes less than two weeks. I'd leave 2.5-3 weeks. Fourthly, he only releases on Fridays. Even in the non-existent world where he finishes the update in late February, do you really think he would release the update on February 28 instead of collecting another month of pledges?

March 21 feels borderline optimistic but we then get into the issue of if it takes until March 28, does he then delay until April to get more pledges or is that a bridge too far? It was clear many months ago that March was the best-case scenario and this progress report all but confirms it.

These updates have gotten far too large and unwieldy. For the love of God, split them up into parts like other devs do. At this point, the next question is does Ep. 12 take a year and half to develop?

The way DPC has always described his way of working and his idle PCs. Yes the thought is by the time the Animation queue is finished, everything else SHOULD be. There are of course no guarantees, he could be talking bollocks... But you are right anyway, just because the animations finish on the 9th doesn't mean the testers get it on the 10th

Even in the non-existent world where he finishes the update in late February, do you really think he would release the update on February 28 instead of collecting another month of pledges?
Nope, not a chance, he needs a few weeks promotion or rather a week or two of dead time, where his pledges can up there pledges to get the version early. And it's not like he can drop a release date when he gives the testers it mid/late Feb as he doesn't know how long it could take.

March 21 feels borderline optimistic but we then get into the issue of if it takes until March 28, does he then delay until April to get more pledges or is that a bridge too far? It was clear many months ago that March was the best-case scenario and this progress report all but confirms it.
Thats the latest I've seen yet, most guesses I've seen it put at 7 or 14 (they're optimistic I think) but as to if it actually drops then? It'll depend on when the date gets announced.

A Feb announcement gives time for the patrons to decide there pledge for a March release

A March announcement gives time for them to set up for an April release.

(if its the later is proven true, that would just be fucking poor form from DPC)
