Some of it. That frown kept me away. I did notice she would soften her expression at times. But then she would go back to it, so yeah... if it is still "on" for let's say "half of the time", it is still a turn-off for me. But hey, I am not asking anybody to adjust their preferences. I am just curious, if for yall the frown is part of the appeal
You see if you had said that from the start instead of going for a hyperbole, you wouldn't have gotten snide remarks.
But you really have to play her path to properly judge how attractive she is, right now you are focusing on one detail. I did not find the frown off-putting, but when you see a different expression on her face the gap makes it more striking. It's not the case with Bella but I have experienced getting past an initial dislike for a character and appreciating them to the point that when I reread the story the parts that I initially disliked became part of the charm. I think that happens to Bella's fans. However they feel about the frown initially, it becomes a part of a whole that is very charming indeed.
And the thing is that Bella has a lot to frown about. She is not grumpy for the sake of being grumpy. The recent chapters of her life have not been happy ones. When you get that, you just want to hug her so tight that the frown goes away. Most likely it would just turn into an expression of utter bafflement, but that too would be adorable in its own way.
So try to get past that dislike and play her path properly. You might fall in love with her.
