Do you want to discuss Bella's story with me without sounding like an idiot, or do you want to continue taking everything I write literally?

I genuinely thought you might be willing to expose a fact that I missed somewhere along the way, but I'm starting to think you're just messing with me at this point.
I'm pretty sure that I exposed the fact that your complaints are fixated on James. You feel the need to inflate that with hyperbole. People do that when they at least on some level realise that their arguments are insufficient.

We can say that James will appear at some point. It would be anti-climactic if he didn't. The characters however can't expect this. To them James being alive is a big "what if". There are more pressing matters to consider.

MC turning up in her life started the process of Bella moving on. This process will not be instantaneous. We are shown multiple times how Bella worries about being unfaithful. We are also shown her to be a very private person. It is to be expected that she will not easily voice her worries and MC is smart not to press her on that.

We do know that Bella and James met in college. We don't know how their relationship progressed or when they got married, but they might have had as much as 15 years of memories before he disappeared. Moving on from that takes time.

MC and Bella are definitely due a long discussion about James, but they have naturally been distracted by the Jill situation. And now Maya's situation is another distraction. Helping Sage deal with her parents' divorce will be yet another distraction. However, distracting as they are the subjects of family and marriage are bound to spark thoughts in both of them. It's just a shame that when one of them finally says: "We need to talk" James turns up within minutes.

If Bella goes to meet Neil there are certainly possibilities for progress with the "What about James" elephant. However, Neil might also choose not to press her on the matter.

We should also remember that while we have speculated for years, the characters only met three months ago. It is not realistic to expect immense progress.

• Is Bella married or a widow?
• If Bella is married, where is her husband?
• Does Bella consider herself a single woman after almost 3 years since her husband disappeared?
• If Bella still considers herself a married woman, why does she want to try something with the MC?
• Is she looking for something serious or casual since her husband may still be alive?
• Does the reason she wears a ring mean that regardless of how she feels about the MC, she is waiting for James to come back so she can resume her marriage?
• Is she psychologically prepared to move forward and have a new romance with the MC?
• How much does she want their relationship to work? Is she willing to have her career and reputation ruined because of it?

Thousands of questions could be asked, but Bella only mentioned the handbook and Jill as the main problems... What a joke! Even the MC the next morning recognizes that they did not address all the topics necessary to move forward with a relationship.
1) yes, but I think it was a rhetorical question, unless you believe in the theory of Bella as the child of the sixth sense

2) good question, hopefully DPC knows. all we know is that he is being held somewhere, we don't even know why

3) the most interesting thing to me is that Jill thinks Bella is a single woman right now, because she doesn't hold it against her that she's married but only that she went behind her back. however to stay with the question: Bella comes to consider herself free, initially she still feels completely committed

4) temptations work like this. the first season in my opinion is quite terrible for the relationship between MC and Bella who seems to take advantage of the latter's nymphomania until the scene in the library which then magically erases everything. Bella doesn't want to, at one point she gives in to temptation and overcomes her guilt

5) as said before: she doesn't want anything, she gives in to temptation but when she gets rid of her guilt she automatically becomes a serious relationship.

6) not knowing her husband's fate, Bella can only consider herself still married. when James returns, because he will return or his fate will be revealed, she will come to terms with that part of her life

7) Bella's journey has been so long that at this point of the story the answer is yes, of course we have to see how psychologically solid Bella is in absolute terms, since everything is worth to her.

8) also on this point the answer is clearly yes, since she apparently decided to hide any risks to her career with MC due to an affair with a student

Guys,

yesterday I replayed the game after a whole years (or so), and I found out that the 64bit .exe wasn't working on my PC - Windows 10 - anymore. The 32bit .exe is ok, but whenever I run the 64bit exe the game won't start: it simply doesn't happen anything at all.

I wonder why, I wonder whether it only occured to me, and I wonder whether it will be a problem when the new update comes out and I will merge the update file into the old game.

Any ideas?

No clue, I'm on Windows 10 and it still runs fine on 64 bit, both season 1 and 2 on Steam as well as season 3 downloaded through here.

Have you tried to update any drivers that might be outdated and are you on the most recent version of Windows 10?

well i remember at some point Bella said "they said he could still be alive', that and the drunken vision MC had of a dude in a uniform makes me think he's either dead or being held in a cave in Afghanistan and season 3 will be the plot of Homeland

like almost everything concerning BADIK and Bella in particular, it may be so. we have so few elements that no theory is discardable.

there was a time when people thought that hallucination (nobody hallucinates by drinking) was Burke....

The last episode took about 6 or 7 days for beta testing... depending the time zone. Today is day 7.
No I've never seen his beta test go past 10 days. But that's just going by history.
Anything is possible but I doubt it. I expect we will see the release date come this week.
Might even see it released before February ends since only those in the higher tiers would
get it. The rest would see it March....and here well uh yeah..... I won't answer that!:sneaky:
I have to repeat myself again. Previous Beta testing for EP10 started between 13th or 15th November 2023, that is what DPC wrote in his status update on 17th November 2023. Episode 10 was releases on 8th December 2023. So that was 23-25 days of Beta testing, more than three weeks.

How can that become 7 days or less than 10 I really don't know. Math is math.

I hope they have scenes too
Same here. Ep 9 and 10 heavily hint to future scenes with them (unless those decisions just exist to rack up TC points). I really hope (same for the Sally previews btw) that DPC isn't just teasing us with no payoff.

BTW, do we already know what's the use of the major choices being major in season 9 and 10? Seeing that affinity cannot be changed anymore, I have no idea why they're not just normal choices.

Which is more Viable, a full CHICK others run or a NEUTRAL others run? What will I miss out on not going full CHICK?

The thought has been on my mind for a bit when sage graduates, who will take over the HOTs?
Quinn is likely to be gone and Heather is likely the same year as Sage.

I believe it will be Elena taking over as President with maybe Maya or Josy being VP

We do know that for the HOTS, Tommy may be gone
So Rusty as President and MC as VP?

Sage is confirmed, I would imagine Jill gets a scene. Then probably Josy, maybe Maya, Maya/Josy is doubtful, and unfortunately probably not Bella
20 seconds into the Bella path in EP11. MC brings Bella home to meet dad.

Kirk: "Mr. Spock. Analysis?"
Spock: "Captain, that was in Episode 10."

With the HOTs, I doubt a 2nd year will become VP without previous experience in a similar role. I agree that Elena will be most like to take over if she would run for it, but I don't know if she wants to. As VP I'd rather think Melanie would become it. She seems a bit more intelligent and down to earth than Sarah and those two are my only guesses of becoming VP.

With the DIKs: If Tommy is indeed gone, MC seems to be the most logical one considering how succesful he is in his semi-leading role of the DIKs in season 2 with the reparations of the house and season 3 with the party planning. Why do you think Tommy might be gone? I can't remember any conversation where he talks about it.

I've got a feeling that, if everything will go well from now on for Maya, Derek is way more likely to drop from B&R.
