hey guys, what do you think about DPC selling merch?

i was just thinking "is there more ways he can make money?" you know?
if he gets people paying twice or thrice the amount they would on patreon by priviledge shenanigans,
some cosmetic polls, and like, a bonus scene, then someone buying his t-shirts and stuff doesn't seem so unreasonable.

try to think about some designs btw, i think quinn's "i will destroy your dreams" pose, is a good vibe.

He makes enough money as it is, in fact, he seems to be swimming in it at the moment and looks like he will be making more if people buy his walkthrough that's on top of the money he is making from his patreon and steam sales, how much more does he need? surely that's enough as it is.

i know right? that walkthrough patreon goal was pretty telling, he will just add them as long as he has some excuse, his fans will probably payroll his retirement , but i didn't mean he should do it, i was just thinking "is it possible?", "would someone buy it?"
stuff like that.

I don't think ; anyway i agree with you with the part that he is making enough money actually to think to make some franchising products...

thats what i was thinking too, after that steam release and quitting his job he got a bit drunk on money, when i read his patreon post when he said "time to turn this into business" i was a bit weirded out, now i know what he thinks of his patreon gig.

All that money coming in from something he is making it's certainly going to have an effect on him hence why he is cashing in on this latest idea with the walkthrough and what else will that lead to sometimes a person can be overwhelmed by their greed I just hope it doesn't consume him.

I think this will always be the case between updates even if you had the worlds best computer, but I think we will get a better idea of how fast he will get through an update when season 2 launches.

As for the merch thing,why not?If he has whales willing to pay for it,than go for it.He would have to hire people though,you need to design,take care of the shipment...all the jazz needed for dealing with physical goods.
At some point maybe but I wouldn`t expect it anytime soon.
Besides you can get prints on virtually anything,photo-paintings,posters,t-shirts,cushins,mugs.... and fairly cheap

super cheap, real easy way to make money if you have medium to large fanbase usually.

and you know what? there were like, simple white t-shirt with words golf on it that cost 60 fucking dollars!
so yeah easy way to make a buck.

Thing is even at that price you will still get people buying it because of what it is, you put a DPC logo and say a character from the game a lot of people will be interested in that. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he hasn't thought about doing that at some point or another.
