I don't think so tbh. It's something he came up with for Episode 3 and will continue for future episodes. It'd be extremely difficult to add it into previous episodes (code, images, text etc).

man, what a great game that was. I couldnt stop playing it. Just binged played the whole thing in like 15hrs straight. First game in years that has dont that to me. Pretty sure oblivion was the last game i played that long in one sitting before.
Cant wait for more.

Or, if you want a "serious" answer : the ability to self-insert into the game to some extent. I mean, it really depends on what kind of game it's meant to be, but if there's any kind of story aspect I want the MC to be at least somewhat relatable.
Good animations, like what milfy city had prior to .06, options of things to do such as in SummerTime Saga, and a good story like in The Deluca Family. That and an axe wielding redhead like in Unleashed doesnt hurt.
In my opinion 8 out of 10 of these games are a dime a dozen.

A good story that makes you feel like you're part of the game's world, interesting and believable characters, challenging tasks and worthwhile long-term goals.
And last but not least, decent visuals and a good soundtrack that enhances the experience.
