I gave up after meeting Jill, which I guess amounts to a couple hours, so take this review with a grain of salt.
A lot of work clearly went into this but some artistic choices (or lack there of) are working against it.
The character design is too symmetrical and "averaged", so the characters don't breathe much life. Some hairstyles are symmetrical down to the hair strand, the facial expressions are also mostly symmetrical and the poses are a bit rigid.
The mini-games, while optional, give you advantages, so I take it you should opt in if you want a better ending, but boy do they clutter the experience. They add nothing to the story and feel just like minutes you'll never get back.
On a more personal note, the story, graphics and music centered around the "USA college" theme is not my cup of tea. I like American Pie as much as the next one but you better have very funny or interesting characters for me to get into it. And up until I left, I found no such thing.
If I played the whole game and those arguments still held true, I would probably give it 2 stars, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
