Review 2.0 (Version - Season 3 Interlude)

I think this game just about holds on to first place for favourite game here.

The storytelling fits the setting very well and it is probably some of the most entertaining I have found, every chapter will have me laughing at some point.
Sometimes I was caught off guard by suprises and unxpected plot twists.
The most controvertial (if forums are to be believed) character was added in unsual circumstances late to the game, but with the story telling given to put them in the game for that point in my opinion was actually so good I made a whole other run just to explore that arc more later.

The visuals on this game are fire, some of the LI's are absolutely smokin (although sometimes a little aggressively unrealistically proportioned...)

The soundtrack is so good that I actively try to track it down to listen to outside of this VN.

Would I play it again? Does having already played it through on 9 different runs count?

This is a masterpeice, and it's sad to realize that less than 0.01% of the world will ever experience this.

The graphics are insane, and the story while a bit cheesy is amazing.

v0.8.0 update is huge, and in a good way. The scene will Bella and Sage are epic. And trust me, I don't use these fancy words casually.

If you are considering playing this game, go. What are you doing here? Go play.

Great funny story that is well written. Graphics are slick. When it comes to the ladies in the game there is certainly a women to every-once taste.
Always looking fore-ward to the next update.

One of the best porn games i've played in my life. It has everything... not only amazing renders and animations (for those who wants just to fap) but also a compeling story, good minigames and a long playtime every update. The game just keep getting better and better with every patch. I've played several times to get different saves with different choices and girls.

If you get this game here and like it, consider support the dev, easier now that its on steam. 10/10

It's dang great for being a renpy title. It's hard to play other games in the same engine, since the quality of Being a Dik is crazy high. Strongly recommend it and you should support the dev if possible.
Only downside is that there's a long waiting time between updates but it's totally worth it.

Being a DIK is essentially the gold standard for this sort of game. It's well written, engaging, funny at times, and serious at others. The graphics are great, with each character distinctive both in design and mannerisms. There seem to be several subplots ongoing at any one time, but often these are based on character evolution rather than some third party issue being thrown into the mix.

Best erotic game I've ever played I think. Tongue and Cheek story in an american pie style world. Gorgeous renders and great characters. Quinn is my favorite. The minigames are sometimes annoying and you definitely need a walkthrough for certain parts but otherwise amazing

This is one of the first adult games i played . I am always a fan of tv series based on college or highschool. After watching a lot of tv series , a crazy idea rise to my brain, whynot search for a adult game with college/Highschool setting. The first game on the list was Being a dik. I hooked into the game just after playing the first episode.

Things I Like - I really liked all the minigames in this game.Especially the mansion minigame.

Things i dont like - Giving more screen time to jill

Another brilliant piece of work. It is a deep emersive story that has sex scenes, as opposed to sex scenes with an attempt at a story wrapped around it. Lots of twists and turns that do affect the story line, with multiple different paths to take, no matter which way you want to send the storyline

-Story is so fucking intriguing.
-Choices do matter.
-Branching storyline.
-Renders, out of this world.
-Music, why did it had to be so good.

Brilliant game. Faultless so far, I really love the multiple paths and storylines and how they're quite interconnected. Definitely best VN I've played thus far. Shout-out to the Dev as well, always posts consistent updates on the progress of the game. Sage is the GOAT so far.

The only thing that I don't like are the mini games.
The game haves a lot of routes, that you might explore to see every scenes.
The developer delivers regular updates of the game.

I really really want to give this one a 5 because the Renders/Animations are INSANELY good.. by far the best out of any game out there which is pretty obvious based on the games score. The use of music to set the mood is equally good and I'm surprised more games aren't stealing the management mechanic.

My problem with the game is the weird ass reverse psychology shit going on. If you look at my other reviews it's pretty obvious that I'm all about the games where you're the good guy and you're taking care of LIs. I came into this game wanting a different experience but instead I've found some weird schitzo writing going on. The game is called "Being a DIK", the writer is spends an insane amount of time smashing on being nice, which is considered being a 'WOMAN' YET the best main LIs in the game require you NOT be a DIK.

It gets even weirder when you consider that if you say screw it.. I'm going the DIK route, you are still FORCED to spend a huge amount of time being totally pussy wiped by continuing to be friends with the two girls who both hurt you. If these scenes were optional then I'd say great.. I'll just pick the option that lets me completely skip that and see the content my next playthrough but you CAN'T. You are required to spend time with them.. hell more time with them then the actual bad girls (Sage is NOT a bad girl)

So definitely play this game.. but don't be fooled by the name or the way the game is presented.

Incredible characters, the storyline has absolutely no right to be this catchy considering how cliche it might be. Not only the animations are amazing, but even the non adult part are great. The very best 18+ game,it's that simple.

Pretty overrated game with forced mini games and a lot of free roam stuff that's just much harder than it needs to be.

The story itself is pretty mundane, and average.

Renders are overexposed in a lot of scenes.

I don't care about any of the characters. I'll probably stop playing this. A lot of people love it though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Being a DIK is among the best adult games ever made, period. DrPinkCake is one of the most talented creators and this game is showcasing it. The story, writing, art, animations, music and all the bonus content like minigames and other excellent features this game has to offer make it an easy 5-star rating for me.

The story is top-notch and really enjoyable. The humoristic aspects are well executed and almost always leave you with atleast a smile on your face. I've rarely played a game so immersive that you simply want to do multiple playthroughs, and even then it's never getting old as there are so many different routes and scenes to explore. The characters are beautiful in their artwork and their backgrounds very relatable.

The sheer amount of content this community gets presented with in every single update is something other creators can't produce in several years of development, and here we're getting it every ~6 months.

This game and it's developer never disappoint. Highly recommended.

Probably one of my all time favorite games. Characters are interesting and easy to like or, in Quinns case, hate. Story is interesting and engaging, and always leaves you wanting to know what happens next. All in all, an excellent game.
