I'm really looking forward to see what will be different on chik and dik route. Because the whole point of it, the way i see it, to go all the way on either. If the goal is to stay neutral, balance to keep it on the middle ground... honestly then why bother, just make a kinetic novel. In my eyes and this is definitely a personal opinion the middle ground here is akin to play the default route and would disappoint me if there is no good (mc wise) outcome on the two other path. If those won't offer an interesting visual novel experience that would be a waste of potential a needless balancing act on the fence.

Besides. Too much scenes locked behind tresholds that way. So i really do hope that going all the way, either way, is a valid option here as the VN gets developed.

I think you missed the game and developer. For once, I'm happy about that.
There are tons of corruption games and vanilla stuff is the rarest thing you can find.

The whole world has gone crazy - it's like they offering heroin and crack on every corner, in schools and libraries, for free and if you want a joint, you need to go to that one guy who is selling it for million dollars.
What is the point in a sex game of vanilla sex? If i want vanilla sex, i take my girlfriend and i "make love" to her. In a sex game, i think, the gamers want a little debauchery, sexiness, depravation, corruption, ecc. And another thing: every incest game (which i hate profusely so i can't play 3/4 of the online games (for god sake:mad:!!!)) has vanilla stuff (dating my daughter, for example). Obviously we can't have all the games with heavy corruption (BaDIK is the case and it's very good in every aspect because is well balanced) but, a little bit of corruption, it's not a bad thing.

Also, i think Quinn is a very interesting character because she could "corrupt" others (the MC? Maybe. Maya? I hope because, with Josey, they are very good characters but they are too vanilla=boring) and can make things spicier:devilish::devilish:.
I don't dislike the idea that Jill will like the MC though he is a DIK because, like that, we will make Jill "more open" to others (if you know what i mean:devilish:)

P.S= I hope it's all understandable

Cmon dude, don't be like that, embrace your inner Cobra! No mercy!!

I think it's more likely that the MC will protect the girls from Quinns influence or at least attempt to and with Jill being more open will take a lot more time than most girls.

When MC considered pledging, he said that he has no chance even entering in their building and not to mention becoming a member. That's for the rich kids only.
Ok than, the author put Maya in a position where she will have to choose "herself" or benefits of the sorority...there might be some corruption in the game after all...
(btw since you have game more fresh in your mind than I do - does Josy mention her phone talk with Quinn?)

It`s already happening, some scenes are exclusive to either of the 2 paths - with I think only Maya fingereing being somewhat in the middle. The further in the game we will go the more of either chick or dick points we will lose, therefore locking ourself permamently from some outcomes.

That will be up to the player(I think) ;)

You know what i think? She is too obvious of an antagonist to be the actual antagonist.
That`s what I`m saying since I started to be vocal in this thread. He`s too good of a writer to be this obvious - She`s fiesty and does drugs,so she`s automaticly a villian - way too naive.

I think Bella will be the hardest to open, she literally only talks to Jill. As for Jill, she's quite open but only to the MC and Bella, but maybe its because not a lot of people approach her because she's rich and of higher status.

That, and fucking Tybalt constantly dripping watermelon juice all over the place as he stalks her around campus.

The way i see it is that she can be just a lackey or some greater evil or she can be simply an unlikable -to some- person but still a lesser evil while the real antagonist isn't revelead him- or herself yet. There perhaps won't be an antagonist and the drama will simply happen due to circumstances, not every plot has a person for antagonist.

I can imagine the mc end up in a doomed relationship. A antagonist of circumstance. Imagine the mc pursuing a relationship with someone and end up being shot by a jelous lover who untill then seemed harmless. ('Layer Cake' anyone?). A yandere type girl who didn't seem to be one at the beginning. Someone the mc rejects which bends her the wrong way (but i guess that wouldn't be too original for Cake now :D). So many ways to turn a drama into tragedy without a real antagonist.

I simply don't think Quinn by default would be the monster in this story, the type we should be afraid of the most. That one is still lurking.

The real antagonist is the house fire.

But seriously I think you guys are giving DrPink too much credit, i like the guy, i love his games(personally wasn't that upset with the famous house fire incident since i didn't care at all for 1 of the girls that died) but i don't think he is thinking that far ahead here and i don't think his a writer that can pull off some epic twist.

I think so too Getting everyone to think Quinn is the antagonist but then to reveal that it's actually someone else later would be quite the bombshell and then there is the post that @vir_cotto made about Sage is a rather intriguing one.
In my eyes, Sage can still go either way. She is definitely not as innocent as she might look. But we all know looks can be deceiving. An innocent face proves nothing. She may be innocent because innocent girls likes the attention of topstud looking boys at school, no big deal. She manipulates the mc? No big deal, she isn't witless. No problem.

One thing that makes me wonder is why she is the president of HOTs. Why not Quinn. I may have missed that part if that was explained, but if that would have been explained in the game.. i kinda wouldn't believe public knowledge here. So there is more to the girl than meets the eye.

Agree,an antagonist of circumstances is certainly a possibility - however,a lot points to this story having one,the jocks, with Chad being the big boss, though it`s actually the DIK`s that started the war and there`s the scene with Quinn and Rusty...

As for the Quinn herself, romantic relationship with her would be the most interesting of them all(to me ofcourse),putting her in the role of a villian or a plot device would be a yuge waste, not a worthy move, epic fail.

I'm with you. Remember that there was zero foreshadowing with Leah. It could have been made on the fly and it would have still worked, since it came out of nowhere.

The only reason why Quinn could not be the big bad is because of what everyone is saying now, Sage being the one behind. How could that work with her as a LI? No fucking clue.
