MC is in the wrong, he committed a crime of trespass and I don't know what else by being involved in the intentional setting off of the sprinkler system (a lot of expensive stuff may have been damaged - luckily not Jill's piano - I think DPC wimped out on that one - could have been some real drama). When they actually did that in EP5 I though to myself, "This is pretty psycho". Jill is fairly naive and thinks she's protecting the MC by backing off. It's not up to Jill to solve this, the MC has to blackmail Tybalt even worse (something drug related perhaps).

I agree that the MC and Derek were in the wrong. My main issue is the same thing I have with every form of media that goes down the generic blackmail plot that we have seen since the dawn of time and it is that the person being blackmailed just passively accepts it and doesn't get pissed off at the person blackmailing them and doesn't immediately start trying to find a way out of it.

I really hope the MC/Jill will tell Bella about Tybalts blackmail, her reaction should be priceless and then she rips him a new one.

In this game's weird money system, 5000 could be 50,000 considering that it only costs $65 to repair a window and a year long VIP pass to the Pink Rose is just $10.

If i dont see wrong, 65 is for all the windows. I find it very cheap.
I have the same thought. The value of the yellow $ and the green $ is not defined, could be 1 or 10 usd as in real life.

MC screwed up. Witnesses can place him at the scene and even running out the door just as the sprinklers go off. It's not that Tybalt weilds all this power, he's just got MC over a barrel and Jill is trying to protect him. Still, it sucks to be cockblocked by someone as pathetic as Tybbie...

The point is Tybalt uses the 'fire' as main point to Jill.
-There was no fire
-The MC has left before the sprinklers went off
-Jill gave him the permission to visit her at the mension
-There are witnesses that MC couldn't be responsible for the fire, DIk's including Rusty and some of the HOT's

So yes there are persons who could witness the MC was there, but thats it, at best trespassing, with Jills permission not sure u could get far with it.
The egging is there, but MC/Derek where outside of the mansion, behind a wall so how many witnesses are there ?

I'd say a half decent law suit would rip such accusations in the air.

Again, I think we're past the point of getting any kind of easy, logical resolutions to anything in this game as it's now seemingly about ramping up a lot of extreme and often unnecessary drama just for the sake of it.

You need to get the code to unlock the door in the palace from the lowlifes in the bar. You need to have your guitar(lute) with you(DON'T trade for weapon or trade after getting the code; your call). The trust part can be guessed with who answers the question "How often do they come" and "How much they had drunk".
BUT, first ask the barkeeper how often they come to drink and how much they have drunk. Depending on the answer, choose the person(for me it was Dawe)
For the acid, either buy a pot from the craftswoman or ask Quinn(Moira) for secrets rather than fucking her...
After you unlock the door with the code from the lowlifes, use the button combination and get the pot and collect acid.

Also, why in lewd games the only possible answer to a blackmailing attempt is just go with it. Why don't ask for help the same way she went to the counselors with the Chad fight, why don't ask Bella for advice if she doesn't want to go to her parents, why don't (maybe) open her eyes and stay completely out of it and let the MC to face the consequences of his actions (maybe with a side help from her). This is on two seperate saves, the other one going back all the way to Episode 2 or something similar.
Anyone has any idea what to do, as I don't really want to start over? The savnes don't seem to be currupted (as they load just fine on 0.5.0), but just aren't compatible what the newest version.
