OK this is pointless. I think you're just bored and trying to pick a fight. There isn't even the smallest hint that Sage ever had another relationship, and I think you are perfectly aware of that.
It's not really a stretch, considering how easily she throws herself on the MC for a sexual release and her views on the fuckbuddy thing. Everything goes quite smooth for a first timer. It's also irrelevant as long as she had true feelings for Chad, but I don't think it was love: with him she has status, a feel of posession and accomplishment of being the succesful girl she's supposed to be (a sororirity president, a good student and a in a long-term relationship with a hot guy)

I'm not saying that Burke can play an important role in the future, but for now it's just guesswork.

in the game for now Burke has been shown to us as a middle-aged man in crisis, who can't get respected by his wife or son, who goes after the students while still getting caught by his wife, of whom the students are not afraid.
In ep1-4 indeed. However he's portrayed as a darker character in ep5-6. He's the central pivot of Mona's downfall and the fact he reluctantly admited to have sex with students in the past has darker undertone now that we know he isn't beyond using student prostitution. Unlike Dawe, his cuckolding isn't played for laugh, his only reaction to Jade's video was a sinister smirk.

Of all the discussions/comparisons going on about possible problems of all LI , i feel like it is all distraction and there will be a twist which will be related to MC's maternal family

I feel Burke should not be underestimated. All the other characters are young and naive in many ways (even Quinn would like to think she's a chess grand master but she's flailing). Bella's the only other exception but I believe she intends no malice. Burke has position and influence and there's no way he'd just be a mere customer to Quinn's smorgasbord.

Mona's scholarship has to be part of a dodgy deal; why would she be after free tuition if she already had a scholarship - the scholarship was the free tuition organised for the girls who worked at the restaurant. When she failed to perform (i.e. bolted rather than having sex with Burke at the prep's mansion), her scholarship was revoked - Burke the ringmaster erase it.

Now if Burke has reason to focus on the MC (having sex with his wife is probably good enough reason...), who knows where this is headed. Hopefully the mc went for some role-playing and was only referred to as "son" during the video!

i think with "side" he means Chad's side girl.
And Wizard_Shiryuu's point was that because Riona is an official side girl of the MC this pretty much rules out her being Chad's side piece.

has she been devoted to him for three years?
I don't think MC is the first friend with benefits
a betrayal with a girl (who therefore Chad would consider better than Sage) would be worse, a betrayal with a HOT that Sage knows would be very difficult to overcome
but we're talking about love disappointments, which a 20-year-old girl surpasses 99 times out of 100, and which we all don't survive.
If Chad is cheating with Mel, then yes, that is a disappointment and a betrayal, but it's not nearly as bad as finding out that the person you liked and possibly even loved wasn't even interested in your gender, let alone you.

If we think about this in terms of "what's most devastating" (since we tend to expect DPC to go down these tyes of paths), Chad being gay would be more devastating than simply cheating with Mel. In the Mel scenario, it could be presumed that Chad did at one point like Sage, but then his eye wandered to Mel, and this is pretty standard hetero cheating which would hurt Sage, but it's something she can probably more easily get over. However, if he were gay the whole time, then this means he was never interested in Sage and was essentially using her as a beard, and that would hurt Sage a lot more.

We know from Ep 6 that Sage already feels like she's not good at processing and expressing her feelings well because she comes from a family that bottles things up and doesn't easily open up to each other. She seems to doubt herself already with regards to her feelings for Chad, so imagine what would happen if he were revealed to be gay and she couldn't tell. It would make her doubt her judgement of people, which could be compounded later if/when she finds out about what Quinn's up to, and this could cause her to doubt her feelings for the MC and keep him at arms length from this point on.

If DPC doesn't want to makes things easy for Sage and for a MC/Sage relationship, then Chad being gay would be one way to go about doing that.

Acting Lessons had good endings, I ended up perfectly fine with Rena and spent the game sleeping around. And that without the use of a walkthrough.

With the way people talk about AL here, it's like I played a different game.
So you weren't bothered by the fact that one of main characters, specifically a LI, had to die in a house fire? Even if you weren't interested in either, it's still a heavy blow for what is essentially a porn game.

If you don't do roleplay it seems to change the scene a bit, I've read that out there

I see more desire than clues in this reconstruction

like when nerds were supposed to be the masterminds behind every crime

is there a reason why Mona should have stayed at the BR?
likely she would rely on Quinn's money to pay the tuition, skip those she can't help but go, what need would there be for Burke's intervention? with the great power of the Delete key on an Excel sheet ...

Does Burke agree that a girl who knows that he, an esteemed professor, goes with the students is out of his reach?

also on the video of Jade, it is normal that he is happy to have something on his side since as Jade reveals to us, he has not signed any prenuptial contract and is very rich, so he would have had everything to lose from a faulty divorce

but we're always talking about a betrayal ...

would these be the big twists you expect? events that should change the status quo of the game?

now wasting time measuring the pain of betrayal seems to me a useless question, we disagree but let's move on.

we just had a chapter where Sage refused any intimacy with MC for the pain of the breakup, for the betrayal what do you expect? another chapter like that? it can be, and I wouldn't consider it a big event anyway, since it has already happened

another bit of drama, as always, as before and as after

Chapter 6 was way more dark than any other chap before. No party, no Pink Rose, almost every girl crying, stolen or with some drama. Mona out, Cathy in the edge. Even the DIKs are being more responsable and less funny irresponsable boys. Almost no funny Derek.
It only will be clear in Chapter 7, or even 8. But if this is a real progression it could meant that the story is advancing from Act 2 to Act 3.

The nerds theory is pure fiction (so's this game but anyway).

The facts:
  • Mona had a scholarship on record with the school
  • Burke deleted the scholarship
Possible assumptions for the scholarship:
  1. Mona earned a legitimate scholarship. In which case she has absolutely no reason to get involved in Quinn's restaurant to pay for her tuition, because it's already covered. Therefore this assumption is bogus and the scholarship isn't legitimate.
  2. Quinn is operating a company that is on the books of the college paying scholarships to students. This would be an massive risk for Quinn, both financially and legally. I find it very hard to believe Quinn operates a registered business that is legitimately paying scholarships that would be financed purely by the girls having sex. They'd have to be turning hundreds of thousands of dollars to make it viable or else Quinn would be bankrupt. What would her incentive to do this be? So I say Quinn isn't financing scholarships.
  3. Someone with access to the college system is forging scholarships to HOTs members vetted by Quinn in return for them providing sexual favours. Someone who enjoys having affairs with students.
Option 1 makes no sense, option 2 is very unlikely as Quinn is open to huge risk with likely no return, leaving option 3 which makes a lot of sense knowing what we know about Burke and his taste for student ass.

Possible assumptions for Burke deleting the scholarship:
  1. He was spiteful that Mona didn't have sex with him so he deleted a legitimate scholarship with no fear that Mona would contest the deletion nor the originators of the scholarship wouldn't query why it was dissolved. He would get caught doing this.
  2. After finding out that Mona couldn't handle the restaurant business, Quinn cancelled the scholarship that she was financing, leaving Mona high and dry.
  3. After finding out that Mona couldn't handle the restaurant business, Burke cancelled the scholarship that he had forged into the system, leaving Mona high and dry.
Option 1 is possible but opens Burke up to legitimate scrutiny, Option 2 is possible but it requires that you accept Quinn is putting up a huge financial risk to possibly negative return. Leaving option 3 once again, a low risk, highly possible scenario.

So in summary, it's may be called "Quinn's Restaurant", but it is entirely enabled by Burke who is integral to it's existence.

Don't disservice me with "more desire than clues". Can you explain the existence of Mona's scholarship on the school records and why Burke deleted it?

Yeah, a bit of a downer after all the wall-to-wall sex, parties, drugs, fights and humour of the previous episodes. Still enjoyable, luckily Nicole and Sandy were there to end the episode on a high note (disregarding Maya's attempt to steal the spotlight again at the very end).

I'm not too versed in the world of porn games, the prestige that you give to a term like LI means nothing to me.

I've played dozens of games where companions die, it's just the way it is.

At the end of the day, AL had a choice, it wasn't one I cared about but it was still there. Kind of reminded me of Mass Effect in a way and choosing between Kaidan and Ashley on Virmire

I do not know American colleges (assuming that DPC refers to those) but in Italy the deadline to pay for enrollment is after the start of the courses.

Mona, knowing she can no longer pay or simply wanting to change the air, withdraws, and her schooling is right to be canceled

very simple and very linear

the payment of a tuition (or even simply validating it without having been paid) is an accounting movement, canceling it out of spite is a financial crime not that difficult to discover

that Burke to have sex with 3-4 girls would be willing to cover their tuition seems to me a huge risk, even if he then covered the debt with his own money, it would cost him a price that is widely out of the market

that the free tuition exists is not a fact, Quinn and Riona deny its existence without tying it to the restaurant business, it is possible that the restaurant allows you to pay for it but it is a deduction (which I agree) not a fact.

A poll for Special renders - Other girls is now live!
The winning girl gets a special render set in episode 7.

Who do you think is going to win?
Cathy,Jade,Camilla,Lily,Sally,Sarah or Riona?

Wow I remember that decision, it was not so difficult since I obviously preferred Ashley, I also remember a worse one when you had to choose between Tali or Legion ... difficult. In AL it is difficult, the two girls are good characters, they get fond of them, but and although it coincides with my personal taste, the best choice is Melissa, it is what gives meaning to the story and the end. I mean, thanks to Megan you meet the girl of your life and that fact is what defines the MC.

Yeah, of course, stories needs down points and drama or became a flat boring no-story thing. This one is pretty good at mixing both. And the scenes re great. I just hope that i am mistaken but do we know if there is a proyected length of the game?

What makes you say that she can pay? As far as I know she enrolled B&R, pledge to the HOTS and then heard about free tuition. She even tells Quinn that she wants everything to be the way it was before and quinn agrees because it will be one less girl for her to provide, seems more like it that she left before shit hit the fan.

I do not understand the question...

a scholarship, is usually linked to income, merit etc, usually has a worthy association or the state as a sponsor, it doesn't have a private individual

let's pretend that Burke with his money has created this meritorious association for poor orphans, and with it he offers free college to those he believes, to the girls who satisfy him most.

do you realize how much each sexual act would cost him? and she shouldn't pay for one, but for all the girls, in exchange for sex and a share of Quinn's earnings, which aren't enough for her either.

to me it looks like a gigantic house of cards, when usually a professor needs much less to have sex ...

but what if Burke used to take on all this expense because Quinn and Riona say that the free tuition is just a spinning noise? they talk to each other what should they hide?

Mona leaves and her card is deleted, then do this forcing to send away a girl who has no reason to stay

Maybe you're missing the point (or maybe I'm missing yours), but are you aware that Mona has a scholarship?

It's here:

Untitled.png

It's shown at the end of episode 6 and it gets deleted by Burke.

How did this record come in to existence? If Wallace Resources TOC is a legitimate company and has covered Mona for 3 years tuition, she would never have gone into the prostitution ring in the first place. So I'm asking you, where did this scholarship come from? It's obviously related to the prostitution ring, and either Quinn is going to finance this somehow, or Burke has fraudulently created it in associated with Quinn's restaurant. I'm not saying Burke is financing it.
