I'm talking about a path you evidently haven't played. Play it and return to this discussion. The MC didn't even know Maya in the very beginning so that's just a false statement of fact. I'm a fan of the game overall, not of any individual character. The discussion at the time happened to be centered around Quinn. And I'm not a boy which would make it impossible to be a fanboy of anyone. But, other than that, you were making valid discussion points.

In my eyes that makes sense, chapter after chapter we get the chance to see more of various girls so it's absolutely natural to see some of them get ahead. Josy for an example started out really weak with her non existent presence, then when she finally joined the crowd it was with a pitiful drama, but in the latest chapters she really started to shine imo.
Quinn on the other hand started as one of the worst characters and she is still one of my least liked characters, but even she had great scenes and more depth than most would like to admit.
Who knows, maybe in the next chapters Quinn will turn everything around or not.

Referring to game players who prefer another character as "bitches" should be regrettable. Not everyone thinks and feels as you do, which is why there are so many characters in the game. It's called "freedom of choice" and it's a liberty not afforded to everyone everywhere.
I'm going to like who I want to like. I'm going to dislike who I want to dislike. I dislike Maya. Her character is an exercise in self pity. She is the damsel in continuous distress. my personal theory is that Quinn started out as a young prostitute to help her mother after Rox cut her mother out for neglecting their child!
somewhere along the way Q created her young posse or gang of young females who sold themselves to pedos and on one such occasion Rox caught her and she was so afraid of disappointing her father that she accused the pedo of rape that got Rox jailed for murder!
since its 3rd degree Rox got something like 12 years since he as priors for sure!
