I really hope we don't have to spill the beans to Sage (about Chad/Troy) in order to progress with her romance (and get the best content). That would be a really shitty thing for DPC to do to everyone involved. Players and some characters. I really hate that storyline. Why must everything hinge on revealing of the sexuality of two side characters who aren't in MC's circle of friends or love interests? Two ex-jocks playing grabass in the locker room....don't care! Ah ffs, DPC is going to do it, you know he is. Just like the "rebound guy" dumbassery, he has to throw in some weird off the wall side drama that you have no choice with.

I think DPC decided early on that he can't give players a perfect situation with an LI (namely she just want to fuck with no strings attached). Something has to screw it up. I just wish it didn't depend on outting two side characters. The dumb rating system from Sage (designed to hamstring those who actually want the fuck buddy) seems not that bad by comparison.

Sage and Chad are in their final year of college. Sage, I assume, has already planned their future. Where they will go to work, how they will live together, and so on. And that's probably why the breakup with Chad came as a shock to her. She knew that he was cheating on her and she was ready to forgive for the sake of a planned future. Their couple looks like a couple from rich families.

I don't think its love, insomuch as she can't help caring for him. I think thats just part of who she is. Just look at her pursuing Maya despite having almost zero connection to her, just because she's a HOT.

I understand the point you make about downshifting, but that scene could have been explicitly about taking it easy and not about the rebound guy.
I understand that in the situation that was going on, even the fuck buddy part was going to collide (or at least the MC believes that).

But DPC made mess of sage character when he forced sex hungry women, Which definitely love her boyfriend but like to keep a guy in side so she can get good fuck.....that is also the reason relation between mc and sage is just physical and non-emotional.

Also a fuck up point about sage that don't suit her personality in my pov : she made relation with mc to revenge chad but she intensively on destructive path if chad were not gay and fallout would be catastrophic.
