MANY hate tyballs' guts. Who told MC and Derek to mess around in tyball's room. :LUL:who is behind that social media account ridiculing tybbie :LUL: (I saw hakuna-matata's comment on that one being Sage, good guess); some of his fellow preps clearly don't like him, they tolerate him (not Bella kind 'tolerate')...
One of the biggest satisfactions was hitting him during the tennis match. I only hit him once, but seeing him get hit by Bella was a lot of fun :devilish:

Yes, the scene of Chad´s "trial" after attacking Tremolo, and the one Chad asking Sage for help makes a lot more sense now.

About Jade not being fond of Chad... Since, apparently, Jade suspects that Chad is gay, and so she said to her daughter... Do you guys think that Jade tried with her daughter´s boyfriend the same tricks that tried with Tremolo, and Chad not even noticed that? :ROFLMAO:

How do you think Jade started to suspect that Chad is gay?
Given how long it took Sage to mentally process the news about Troy, I doubt Jade specifically thought Chad was gay. My guess is that Jade thought Chad was only using Sage for prestige or sex, and so she warned Sage not to get too attached to him. (As I recall, Sage mentioned that possibility right after the breakup.)

What do you think about the blackmailing letter that provokes that he assaults Tremolo? Who do you think sends it, and why? I think that letter is the reason he breaks up with Sage.

I don´t think he breaks up with Sage because he cares about her. He was fairly confortable (fights aside) with her as girlfriend, and gains nothing breaking up with her. We know he´s a coward that consents that his actual partner is being bullied. He can´t care about his "fake" partner. Probably, even if the "doesn´t enjoy" the fights with Sage (who would?), aren´t a great concern for him, since that situation probably have lasted for months or even years. And, as you say, Chad knew well what he was doing when agreed to be Sage´s boyfriend, and why. It´s not like he discovered that he was gay after starting dating Sage.
First off, I don't think they really were blackmail letters. Chad thought that when he attacked the MC, but as he himself admits, he wasn't thinking clearly at the time. Unless the letter told Chad to break up with Sage (which is difficult to square with the Mel & Sarah scene if the MC is on Sage's path in Episode 5), Chad doesn't seem to have done anything that would take blackmail. Also, unless Chad secretly removed a separate letter for Dawe, his letter contained nothing but photos of DIKs banging Arieth. Given that everyone knows Arieth is sleeping around, that's about as far from blackmail as clandestine envelopes get.

Personally, I'm think the most likely theory is that someone either wanted to piss of Dawe and Chad, or wanted to stir up trouble between the DIKs and jocks specifically. The question then is who would do it? Troy could have been a good candidate before we confirmed he's Chad's secret lover, but he's out now. The nerds might have the capability and a general motive, but there's nothing in game that links them to the pictures. Vinny might want to stir up trouble, but it's unclear how he would know about Chad's secret. Sarah and Mel do know about the secret and clearly have an agenda, but the look between Chad and Mel make me think Chad knows they know, which would make the letters pointless. I even tried to examine the timeline once to see if anyone was suspiciously absent when the letters were delivered, but sadly the scenes at the start of Episode 3 are so out of order I can't even be sure what scenes are contemporary.

Unfortunately, I think this is one of those mysteries where we don't even know enough to speculate meaningfully. Which is definitely frustrating given it's been languishing for 5 episodes and counting.

Yeah. I was hoping he was going to announce a new tie in to BaDiK that he’d work on with someone else. Perhaps comics, or 10 minute animations or something that was actually going to add value for his supporters.

I didn’t expect him to get another artist, or writer or programmer on board for the main product. But exciting news? For his accountant maybe…
Ugh, no side projects, please. Every minute DPC spends on a tie-in is another minute we have to wait for the actual game. If he needs time off to recharge, that's one thing. But if he's going to spend time on BaDIK related material, I'd much rather it be the game itself.

As fort he GoG announcement, I'd say it's exciting for the folks who'll be introduced to the game via the new platform, and that's a good thing. I'm also always happy to see more competition for Steam. But I'll agree I'd much rather learn a bit more about what he's planning for this Interlude...

What are the requirements for Rusty not having to sell his car on a skip mini-games playthrough? I remember reading something here about skipping mini-games automatically making him sell his car, well, I just did a CHICK playthrough and he didn't sold it, perhaps he only does it if we're DIK?
You need to have 6+ DIK reputation points when the time comes to crunch the numbers. If you have 5 or fewer, Rusty sells his car. [EDIT: This is assuming you disabled mini-games. With mini-games on, you just need to buy the windows for $65 and finish repairing the mansion in time.]

According to the official walkthrough, you also need to have turned down the VIP pass, but I have not been able to confirm that last part myself. And personally, I don't see why you'd want the VIP pass - especially on a non-mini-game run. Where the hell are you going to find that kind of money?!?

This may have been said already (this thread is still moving way too fast to absorb all the comments), but I think I've realised what the "Interlude" is.

My guess is it's simply the prologue to EP9, just like every other episode has a prologue that typically doesn't include the mc, or any choices.

So it's just gonna be Zoey's story. Just significantly longer than previous prologues.

Look around with the cursor to find an arrow. Maybe check the notebook to see if you have to study. Click on the wallet, anything to try to see if you're actually stuck or it's a bug

The arrow to leave that scene should be over the chair pointing down (back)

This is the exact scene where you are now
You missed an opportunity there Mark, you should have switched Jill's picture with Quinn's for the purpose of the screenshot; you'd hear the sonic booms going off around the world as minds were being blown! :ROFLMAO:

He said that status updates would be irregular in the future, not necessarily on Fridays. So wait for the status update tomorrow.
Posts may come somewhat irregularly as soon as I have something exciting to share, not just on Fridays, at least for a while.
I'm guessing the current state of events (i.e. working on the interlude, getting the Steam release out, GOG distribution etc) have put things off the rails a bit, hence the non-standard status update regime. Once he's just working on ep9 it'll go back to normal (i.e. Fridays).

I haven’t verified this, but I thought Rusty only sold his car if you couldn’t pay off the windows yet.

Yep, seeing as she doesn't have her tattoos in the last preview, I bet it will cover pretty much everything she went through since she left until she returns, hence this being a separate part of the game, it will probably be a considerably bigger "prologue".

Another topic regarding the Interlude, the MC said that Zoey got a new boyfriend after she left, I sure hope DPC does not shy away from that to not piss off the "nTr CrOwD"...

You say that, but with no coercion at all she had unprotected sex with the mc and let him cum inside her.
She was willing to fuck raw because it's a porn game. Don't read anything into that. DPC's characters might talk about condoms, but they'll never use them. It's not a plot point, it's a porn game.

That said, Jill will be open to a threesome by the end - probably with Bella or Josy. For much the same reason. Vanilla sex, as hot as Jill's scene was, will need to go somewhere over the course of the next 8+ episodes.

I'm saying this for myself.

And not for all you degenerates.

If that's the case and that happens, it better be a choice to accept it or not. If it's a story-driven event, I'm gone

I'm more than halfway out of the door as it is because I know this game will take another 4-5 years to complete. I should just cut my losses now and not die in my desk chair waiting for 2025-2026 when I'll be 51-years-old the latest

I don't care how much shit I take I'll fucking ignore everyone and all of them who come back after me

Dudes, when are we getting our BaDIK merch? I'd kill for a DIK letterman jacket, a mug that says "Tybalt's tears" or a tee that says "I banged Arieth and I only got this crappy tee" (With the "p's" in 'crappy' crossed with red marker, and "b's" written underneath them).

There are vendors that will let you build your own jacket, if you're willing to pay for it. Several of them let you come close to the DIK jacket, like this one:

Granted, there are some minor things wrong with this particular one (wrong number and color of wrist stripes, wrong number of stripes on the collar, and the BR isn't interlaced properly), but if someone who plays Being a DIK saw you rocking this on the street, the first thing out of their mouth would be, "HOLY FUCK, MAGGOT! WHERE DID YOU GET THAT JACKET??"

The only NTR there would be at this point is for Zoey to take the girls away from the MC

But the most likely lol is that that prologue have at least almost 1000 renders or so I hope :ROFLMAO: and the occasional animation without any sex as DPC already specified so with less animations the prologue it more faster to comes out

Did you forget mc making out with Jill in front of Tybalt? That's a form of ntr since mc is cucking Tybalt right there.

I'm not gonna lie, i just played the whole game today and episodes 6-8 are just.....idk. They're still good but they just feel like random scences happening over and over, unlike in the first 5 episodes where it felt like the eposodic format mattered

In broad strokes, that's my guess too. But since it seems to extend back to before Zoey left, I think we may have some choices as a younger MC, too.

I can't see DPC spinning this off into a separate release unless it's substantially larger than, for example, the Episode 5 flashback. But I also skeptical DPC would want to make a very long-form story with no interaction, and I still think it's interesting that he wants it to import the saves from Season 2.

Hopefully we'll get some actual information about it soon.

I haven’t verified this, but I thought Rusty only sold his car if you couldn’t pay off the windows yet.
Sorry, I should have been clearer. The question was specifically about how to avoid Rusty selling his car if you disabled mini-games. In that case, the game uses DIK points as a proxy for the repair mini-game. Definitely not what I was expecting.

Seeing as how the only 'reward' from the VIP pass appears to be The Madame, fuck that pass.
Yeah, fuck that pass. The "gift" is just a huge money pit only people like Rusty can afford. Leon must be fucking loaded if he has been going there for almost a year.

What if you buy the windows but fail to clean all of the mansion in time?
