Ehm, wasn't Burke the one who tried to abuse Mona? And considering Sage is adopted... I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out Sage was abused and this is why she's so casual about sex. Then again, she obviously loves her parents. Which is kinda weird considering what we know about them and how other characters (mainly Bella) behave towards them. So maybe Sage is a case of Stockholm syndrome? It also would put Tybalt in a different light; DPC obviously wants us to hate Tybalt and makes us laugh when he's miserable. So I fully expect him to make us feel bad and show Tybalt was actually a victim.

I love all LI's pretty much equally, but damn if that Others path is not going to be fun as hell. Sally, Elena (fingers crossed), Heather, the Pink Rose girls, Quinn, Riona, Camila, Penny, Kylie, Becky, Christie, KRJ, Tara.... and I'm sure I'm missing a lot more.
You can bet that the MC will give his footlong to everyone and probably dying from all the fucking, but it will be worth it.

Hi folks!
-I had played Ch 7.2 with Scrappy's 7.2 Mod.
-I installed Ch 8 & obviously it kicked me out (for me when Bella is talking to James & he lays on the couch).
-I tried one of the fixes and that seemed to work fine up until the 'free-roam' where you have to invite Maya & Josy over.
(could do everything on the task list (even setup the room) except actually invite them over & progress the scene.)
-It didn't kick me out, just didn't allow me to progress.
* I know people have asked about this before (I tried 1 solution & it didn't work)
So I was hoping someone would be a saint- & give me a step-by-step of how to properly install/setup Ch 8 (8.2) on pc
so I can play my game where I left off (& I assume if you've set everything up properly, Scrappy's Ch 8 Mod works fine?)
(ALso, pls include links to files mentioned (or posts with links) )
I know its a pain but this would be greatly appreciated!!

I know making out that Tybalt of all people isn't really rich is a fun plot-device (for argument's sake).
But I don't think it fits here because he would be looked down upon by all the kids in the fraternity that come from real money (even if not the same level as Burg & Royce.) He might be tolerated because of his family's influence (a genuine part of the group, but I don't see him having the respect/clout in a group like that without real wealth/status behind him).
The dev could also be making a point about the difficulties of trying to 'fit in' in a highschool/college environment (like Maya, Josy, Chad (definitely)). Not just for the drama, but also to point out that all the characters have more to them than the stereotypes they first appear as. Or I could be completely wrong & it's just him trying to add more depth to characters as the story progresses.

JAL this can also be viewed the other way around. If the player does not reject JM, i.e. chooses the romantic path for both, he is still forced by DPC to interact with Sage, Isabella and Jill.
This is exactly where I see what DPC is getting at. He wants the player to decide on his LI as early as possible.
The later the player decides, the more complicated the friendship is likely to become and the jealousy factor that DPC introduced (I believe in EP7) will strain the LI relationship and friendships.
The example below is from the JM path. I don't have any other path. But it shows the pattern of DPC.
My MC has no romantic interaction with the other LI's.
Jill: My MC helps Jill with tennis against Tybalt and the concert. But he can't and won't help Jill on her third date with Tybalt. What is the consequence. Jill stands up and shows Tybalt her cute raccoon teeth. Conclusion: The MC has boosted Jill's confidence. This is going to be a great friendship.
Isabella: The MC convinces and permanently proves to Isabella that he is a decent young man and not the pervert who ran around campus naked. She also sees him helping Jill. Summary: At the end of the concert, Isabella gives the MC a friendly hug after saying that it warms her heart what great friends Jill has. Yes, Isabella was damp with the hug. But not because she was excited about the hug, but because the ice queen's ice shell is melting.
Sage: Needs a real friend more than anything. From the scene of EP5, I conclude that Sage's experiences with boys have always been the same. Falling in love quickly, horny sex, and then bye-bye. She probably never had a real boyfriend. So it's all the more important that the MC stands up for Sage and Maya during the walk in the woods. Did you see Sage's reaction to this. Just fantastically portrayed by DPC. After that reaction from the MC, Sage knows that the MC is her best friend and will remain so whether she can help Maya or not.
In short, this is to show that there can be a happy ending if the MC is and remains a decent guy. There will be no jealousy with and among the LI's because there is simply no reason for it. But that's what Zoey is on her way to the MC for.

.I think you're right though and this probably also reflects back on the game's title. I'm convinced "Being a DIK" is a meta joke made by DPC about how everyone who plays adult games only thinks with their DIK*. So I expect some bad endings/lecture about how these girls also have feelings. Instead, if we actually treat the girls as people, the endings are probably going to be great. Hell, DPC pretty much spells it out with the whole Hell Week thing; at the end it wasn't about completing all of the assignments, it was about the friendships you got from it.
