I think it's human nature to be defensive when someone disses something we like. Not sure why it is, but it's definitely a common trait (this thread is a living testament).The first line: Yes. the one thing I didnt like about scrappy mod in this last version was the change he made with his mod on the interface of "options". In this particular change, you can't access (audio) so you can't turn down the music if you want to. And most of times I like to turn down the ingame music/sounds and play with my own music on.
The second line: I am also not a fan of Madame, and I preferred to have had scenes with Riona than 2 scenes with madame in this last EP
The last line: I love DPC games and writing, but that doesn't mean I will like everything. Also doesn't mean I can't talk about some stuff I didn't like, about certain character or plot inside the story.
And the problem in this forum is, most of times when you doesn't give "positive" reviews, when you say you doesn't like something, people feel offended and think you shouldn't criticize the dev, because they put a lot of work into it.
So no book writer should be criticized then. You'd buy books, feel like the money you spent wasn't worth it, but should be quiet and not say anything, because you can't criticize somebody's work.
People should never say they didnt like the ending of game of thrones, because everyone worked hard to make an unarguably entertaining tv show.
Just my point of view with no hate or anything.
But my point was you can criticise the game; the characters, the writing, whatever, but when people start having a go at DPC (and I mean getting personal, I have no issue with people saying they don't like what he's done), that's what gets to me.
At the same time, this is a discussion board, and I do enjoy debating people's opinions on the many facets of the game.

I'm not sure about it being completely standalone, I got the impression there will be a few choices (unlike the prologues of the previous episodes), so there could be some long lasting repercussions of those choices.Hmmm...heavily focused on Zoe and her surfing skills.
My biggest concern is, if there are choices, then we're actually playing as a character in the interlude, and I guess that character would be Zoey.

On the note of my favourite LI, after 8 episodes, I still don't know who it is!
- I totally had a thing for Nicole, but then last episode when the choice was Nicole or Lily, I fucking chose Lily!
- I've enjoyed Jill all along and episode 8 she definitely went up a notch, but I preferred Sage in the past, but she slipped during the last episode.
- Then there's Josy, the wonderful pocket-sized girl next door, she's definitely shooting for the number 1 spot.
- Maya has waned for quite a few episodes in my view, but I think she could have a comeback soon.
- Bella was never my thing.
