Stupid question, do you have to DL 8.2 first from 8.0 for new content or is 8.2 just a patch update from 8.0?
Since 8.2 is 19.6GB and the patch is only 55mb

As should be obvious from the file size, the v0.8.2 Update Patch is just bug-fixes for v0.8. So if you've played through v0.8, you don't need to play 0.8.2. Transfer saves made in 0.8 can be imported into the upcoming Interlude.

As we learned in Episode 8, the "main girls" in BaDIK were the ones the MC could choose to date during the crossroads.

We didn't learn that in Episode 8, DPC has consistently referred to the same 5 main girls in all his communications, including the Ep 1-4 walkthrough. Quinn isn't a LI, Zoey won't be one either.



I expect Zoey's introduction will simply be a new source of drama, DPC's raison d'etre. He's mostly resolved the Chad drama, needs a new source of histrionics to fill the void.

No, doesn't fit with their characterization at all. Bella flat out tells the MC she won't continue the relationship if he's seeing Jill, and Jill's reaction to discovering MC has an intimate relationship with Bella should make it clear there's no chance. Plus the whole point of v0.8 was to narrow the available romantic options in a given playthrough, the antithesis of a new polyamourous relationship with two main girls.

Those of us who played DPCs previous game count ourselves lucky we still have the option of the Josy/Maya triangle, let's not get greedy.

Edit: I found that "Paint Game" at ep.6 !!!! It wasn`t a PAINT GAME.....it was CLEANING GAME imho, because it hapends, when MC and Bella are CLEANING MCs place and it starts by it self !!!!!!!!

The painting mini-game in Episode 6 is when the MC cleans up his room in the DIK mansion, and will happen automatically (assuming you have mini-games turned on).

There is also an optional painting mini-game in Episode 5 at Bella's house. To get it, you need to click on the paint cans near Jill before clicking on Jill to end the free roam.

If you've had breakfast with Bella and Jill you've missed the chance to paint Bella's fence.

I'm well aware of the walkthroughs, but what does being a "main girl" mean? We tend to assume it means they are the ones with an endgame, but that's just a guess on our part. Episode 8 was the first time we saw the main girls do something mechanically that someone like Quinn couldn't (though she comes close): the MC can choose them at the crossroad.

My point is that it's entirely possible the crossroad is the reason the main girls are "main." In which case it could be that by the time we reach Season 4 there will be a new selection of girls that are possible end choices; if so, there's every reason to think girls like Quinn and Zoey could be on that list. I'm not saying it's guaranteed to happen, just that it's a logical possibility we shouldn't overlook simply because Quinn isn't listed as a "main" girl. DPC's walkthroughs frequently omit important information about future choices, after all.

To be fair, the the Episode 5 conversation that is clearly intended to be sexually suggestive. IMHO, trying that hard to be suggestive indicates DPC is trying to mislead us and the eventual explanation will be asexual (at least between Jill and Bella). But that take is just as theoretical as saying the two had an affair. I think the evidence supports it, but we can't prove either at this time.

No, DPC doesn't release story-based content in drips and drabs like that. He drops entire episodes with a distinct story arc and events. The .x follow ups are always just bug fixes.

There will be an interlude between season 2 and 3 that will drop at the end of next week. Then I would expect episode 9 to come probably mid to late summer, perhaps August.

You all worry way too much about Zoey. Elena, Catrin, Jamie and the MC have told us all what will happen.

When the MC decides on a LI in EP8, the choice is already made. The MC already knows which girl his heart belongs to. What did Elena say. She said that there can be trouble if the MC is not sure. To what extent the LI's will accept Zoey as the MC's friend remains to be seen. But even there I don't see a problem as long as the player (MC) stays true to himself.

Once all the LI's have been rejected, Zoey will be presented to the MC as an alternative. After all, she is his ex-girlfriend. But that's already being rubbed in Catrin's face. Catrin still hangs out with her ex-boyfriend and then decides to get back together with her ex-boyfriend. So just put in the MC for Catrin.

What do Jamie and the MC tell us in EP8? That it might be difficult for the MC when his ex-girlfriend lives nearby and he meets her at parties. This is going to be a Halloween. Imagine they play the game at the Halloween party, which is what Sage, Quinn taught the MC. Does the MC recognize his blindfolded ex-girlfriend? What did Quinn say again? If the MC recognizes who kissed or licked him, he gets to make out with the girl. That's going to be fun. Of course, I don't know if it would be as funny if Zoey later had a boyfriend at DIK and then always did a Walk of Shame. Although, I wouldn't care as long as my MC has his Josy and Maya. So no problem with that.

In EP6, the MC thinks to himself why women become friends with each other even though they're into the same guy. So in my case Josy/Maya would become friends with Zoey.

As you can see, DPC has already given us a lot of information about Zoey, about what is to come with her.

It's DPC, meaning there is not a snowball chance in hell it will go over as smoothly as you dream it up, bro. And there is one thing you always forget. MC and Zoey never broke up, she left, he said to Bella at the Cafeteria how that made him realise just how much he loved her. And that happend what ? 6 Months ago + the time and B&B... yea I don't think DPC dedicates an Interlope to Zoey, just for her to become "friends" with your LI ! And do you re-al-ly think its a coincidence, that Zoey conviently pops back up into MC's life right after MC had to make that choice ? I would be baffled if that whole thing wont be the lovey-dovey problem of the 2nd half, with Vinnie beeing the none lovey dovey storyline. But it will be interesting to see, just tighten your hatches bruh, BFF+GF combos are the 0.1% of 0.1%, a storm is coming ...
