Depends what you are looking for, if you want attractive characters, good animations and some humour, then you will like this, but if you are looking for a great story......then this might not be for you.
Okay... list the great story porn games for me if you will...![]()

Please list what's so great about this story.![]()
Nah, pal. That's not how debate works. You made the assertion this isn't one. Back it up by providing evidence. You can say you don't like it, that's fine, but you're saying the story isn't good. So give them examples of games with good stories.
Nope, I gave my opinion it wasn't a great story and it isn't, didn't say I didn't like it either, you want to debate...then go ahead.
Most people that suggest the story isn't great are those who are looking for a strong plot. Something that compels the mc through the events.Define what you mean by 'story'. If anyone is going to argue with you about your opinion, terms should at least be defined. Are you talking about the 'plot' or the 'setting' or what? A hint as to what you think is wrong with whatever would be helpful too.
Personally, I don't see any point in arguing about something so subjective as your opinion. But, whatever.
Most stories here have an obvious aim for their mcs.
The mc in this game has no specific aim.
Like what is he actually trying to achieve?
- He's not trying to save the beautiful princess from the evil queen (well he did do that once).
- He's not trying to use the Book of the Dead to get himself back to his own time.
- He's not dealing with insomnia and an alter ego intent on blowing up to blow up the world's main bank servers in order to wipe out all debt.
- He's not teaming up with his brother to get his band back together to raise enough money to save the orphanage he grew up in.
- He's not trying to stop the Nazi's from obtaining God's covenant to the world and tapping into its untold powers.
- Depending on how you play the game, he's not even trying very hard to graduate from college.
The mc doesn't even have any pressing issues of his own to deal with. I mean, he'd like to find out more about his mom, but he's not really putting any emphasis on seriously getting through her diary. Then there was that one time when he didn't have any clothes...
So all-in-all, I can agree with anyone that says it's not a "great" story, if by "great" they mean a huge sweeping plot of "Ben Hur" proportions (not the remake, I heard that was shit).
But that doesn't mean the story isn't highly entertaining.
Just like Rimmer said in his opening line, "Depends what you are looking for..."
Comparing EP2 to EPI makes you wonder what did him take so long. Its a much smaller episode but it was made for longer. Really makes you think what DPC spends money on. Not on his PC obviously.
magaclaawe was actually comparing the development time of episode 2 vs the development time of the Interlude (ep-I).I know we're not supposed to feed the trolls, but..
At the time Ep 1 came out, he didn't have the massive army of supporters he has now, and over the course of the next few episodes he did get the funds together to do significant PC upgrades. As I recall he has at leas 3 machines with quality rendering hardware in them now.
I'd say that the Interlude took longer because that period included Christmas and New Year, so DPC probably took time off.
Also there was a lot of overhead in the Interlude that Ep2 didn't have. The overall game template was different, there was the new season import to get working, new characters to design, new minigames (shit ones unfortunately) to create, and even though there were less animations and images, the animations were longer (like almost 30% longer than episode 2's animations).
Episode 2 didn't have much of an overhead since everything created in Episode 1 was reused, where as the Interlude was almost an entirely new game with a new look and feel.
