Finally installed 0.8.3. The new main theme isn't that bad, it definitely deserves a chance. The game didn't get worse because of this, it's still the same BaDIK, only there is no recognizable feeling of nostalgia when you hear Punk Rock Flu. But this passes with time. When you play the game, you don't even notice that there are no Friday Prophets songs. There were only 5-6 of them on the entire track list, which includes 200 songs.
So the news is not worth the drama that started. The only ones missing out are the Friday Prophets, who lost their free ads.

An unknown punk band became "somewhat famous" thanks to DrPinkCake and now for some reason: greed or not wanting to be associated with porn (what a prudes) will now go into the void and infamy. We haven't lost anything

I know what's in the pic. It was the members of the Friday Prophets band who found themselves a new job after their fame had fallen. After all, no one heard their music except BaDIK fans, and they cut down the branch on which they were sitting. :ROFLMAO:

It's okay, they can still get jobs at Quinn's restaurant. :KEK:

Glad I backed up v0.8.2 raw installer on my server. As long as it doesn't cause any save compatibility issues, I'll keep it as my permanent version of Season 1 so as not to lose any of the originally intended music tracks.

However, there are a handful of really awesome songs in this game (include a couple that never fail to make me cry) and if those start getting replaced it's going to become an emergency.

I liked some of their songs but not gonna lie, don't really care. I just wanted some numbers so ename could do the thing with the graphs and somehow ease the impatient feeling that's slowly bubbling up.
