Believe it or not if a person is in a relationship he/she will not see the red flags or 90% of the time he/she see's it but ignore it. In the case of Sage she is in love with Chad so she did not notice that Chad is gay and only using her for status. But in all fairness to Sage she believe in her gut feeling that Chad is cheating on her. But not with a woman but with a man
