He should have just listened calmly and then given his version in detail, instead of pushing it. The guy is too emotional. And then give Neil time to think.
While I agree, MC was quite shocked and upset that his dad wasn't immediately supportive. I can give him a bit of a pass for now just because of how much of a shift that was from his dad's usual reaction and how much MC clearly idolized his dad. Hopefully MC's had time to process and can discuss it more calmly next time. Neil clearly realized quickly his error and probably would be open to at least listening.

But yeah, MC did a shit job explaining their relationship. Definitely failed to make it clear that 1) Josy and Maya were also in a relationship with each other and had been for a long time and 2) Josy and Maya were the ones to propose poly in the first place, not MC trying to convince two unrelated women to share. Understanding that really changes the way the relationship dynamic looks.

On a side note, I hope MC gets the option to encourage Maya and Josy to go public next episode. With the loan resolved, there's nothing explicitly holding them back except fear of the reactions from family and friends, and doing so can be really liberating and healthy for a relationship. It's hard to maintain feelings of love and affection when you're constantly having to hide and suppress them and the small gestures of expression like public kisses. Being free to do so would probably do a lot to help Josy and Maya.

hey, this question may have already been asked, but I'd rather annoy you anyway...
is it necessary to download this patch and what exactly does it improve or change?

Unfortunately, even after the "My heart goes out to you" incident, DPC thinks himself to be Elon Musk and thinks he can program shit like Musk can. He might have overestimated his programming skills with this one. Cool mechanic, sure, but don't expect to get 100%. And not just because the game is big.
So yeah, after restaring from interlude because according to DPC's new "seen dialogue", I haven't played shit and never opened ep 9-10 (0.00% on everything baby), I can confirm that the mechanic is supposed to be universal for every save/run/playthtough, just like the special renders and the 2d art. That makes it even more horrible now that it's not unique for each save. This would mean that EVERY SINGLE AND MICROSCOPIC change in the dialogue will count. You could do some shit in ep 1 and the response in season 3 to that action/choice will slightly change and affect the dialogue counter (probably exaggerating with it, but you got the idea). This that most likely it would be IMPOSSIBLE for the majority of players to complete that counter even if DPC fixes it perfectly lmao.

Honestly, cool idea, but with the wayDPC makes all the branching and minuscle changes in the dialogue, this is a horrible idea

I'd be interested to see where you guys think the whole MC cucking JB thing is going? It's obvious Elena likes the MC & JB likes watching him fuck her, is this a recipe for more drama down the road?

Play it first, form your own opinions and then come on here.

I personally feel like the game has improved update on update, i thought this one was great and I really enjoyed it

It's a big ass community for a complex VN with a few divisive characters. What i love, is not what someone else would, they're just more likely to be moaning about it then i am praising it
I'm just asking, and sorry but no, some key points in each game are objective. if a good 40% says the game has become worse, there's some truth to that and I'd like to know why they think that way. will have no impact on what I think about the updates after playing myself, because guess what? I'm not a malleable teenager...

It's possible that it should have been flagged to true in Tommy's room and DPC just forgot, but that also seems unlikely.
I'd say it actually seems perfectly likely, given it's the simplest explanation and making such mistake when scripting is pretty common. Enabling the path when the player chooses option to continue to pursue Bianca (and when it leads to MC and Bianca doing sexual things) also seems like logical outcome.

As for name of variable, i have already mentioned it before, but DPC always names variables after the chapter where the decision is made. So if it's named ep11 then the intention was for it to be set in Episode 11.

I was/is a massive fan of Mona, but it is really hard to keep her in my top group when every episode I eagerly await her return only to be disappointed again. My only hope is that I got her pregnant, so she has to return with a baby bump. :)
Mona returning with baby bump would be instant kill to all romance routes. People who thought getting handjob from Jade in Episode 3 screwed them unfairly in Episode 11 haven't seen nothing yet. :sneaky:

Someone said yesterday that Derek feels like the odd one out in the new friend group, and I agree. But he serves an important function! He's the cockblocker.

Because without him around, things get a little too hot :BootyTime:

That's why he should stay away from us after what happened on Christmas :KEK:
Man, Sage really is gunning for the Hypocrisy Award this episode. :sneaky:

Sage: oh yeah, i totally get you girls, i also wouldn't like to see my boyfriend drooling over half-naked sluts, how uncomfortable would that be.
also Sage, an hour later: casually starts talking about fucking other girl's boyfriend right in front of her and with her tits out. After all, surely nothing about practically naked woman (who is potentially the boyfriend's ex) discussing such ideas right in front of the guy's current girlfriend, if not with her, as a "joke" could ever cause said girlfriend any discomfort, amirite.

Finally unlcoked everything i'm planning on before the guide comes out. Some thoughts on the episode.

In general I thought things were fine, the panty party is great. The BJ contest is awesome. With Heather, Bianca and Zoey all giving a great performance. The Bianca spank scene is super hot, as is her on the snow bike and the hot tub. Getting her on the DIK path will be great, as a temptation on the Bella and Jill path she will be hard to resist. I liked the Nick story line, and the Quinn plot is interesting. Not sure what the point of MC saying he is ride or die and then her not taking him for revenge is though.

My main concerns which have been growing since episode 8 are the number of forked paths. The basic paths I can think of right now are

I'm sure there are loads more not to mention variations and combinations to set up scenes later. I know the others path this episode can be done in 2 runs, but you essentially have to fix Nicole and Lily on seperate paths. Same with Sarah and Melanie, not to mention Quinn. You can only get a unique scene with Cinderella if you don't make out with other girls. The Bella panty party is fun, but the fact none of the girls are at the main party is kind of dulll especially since the Bella party basically only has two variations. I think sometimes Pink forgets that he is 40 hours into this story and finding you need to go back 6 episodes to to unlock a lewd scene now isn't fun.

That brings me on to the ball ache of the party planner this episode. Now I like the mini games in general, and I think the party planner is fun. (the maths game this episode got to complicated for it's own good). The problem with the party planner is that some 6.5 multipliers will get you an A and some will get you an S. That sort of margin is frustrating, especially when it's boardline impossible to get 6.75 with some lay outs if you don't have certain resources to hand.

At the end of the day, 15 months was a long time to wait for three great lewd scene and several good ones, but at least half be totally forgetable.
