Don't think this is true, the walkthrough itself says the positions are randomised.
I don't actually know when the roll for them takes place as its not as easy as a save before the party loads. But you definitely get different boards on the sam affinity

I don't think Sage will be to hard on Riona. She was a victim in all this regardless of her involvement. And she was already tortured . Sage will most likely be even more pissed at Quinn for the state Riona is in.

Just tested it and for some reason I couldn't practice the song for Jill. Went through my saves and fast-forwarded to get the 1st time. The 2nd time only gave me a bit of trivial dialogue and the third time wasn't even possible at all.

I don't think there's going to be "cheating with Zoey", given the MC makes a decision to break with his current girlfriend if you pick the option to return, and automatically rejects Zoey if you went all-in with love declaration etc.
How Sage takes a breakup is another story, but it's not really something you'd describe as cheating.
