Ok yeah, I expected that with the whole Derek talk and MC feeling weird about the whole situation.

Unfortunate, but at the same time, it's nice to see that our prior choices are still important, especially a big one like that. It feel natural too, you got a footjob in a classroom by her mother, it will always be on your mind AND you never know when Jade will get mad for something and tell Sage. It's probably setting the field for MC to "come clean or break up".

Yep, even the fact you didn't know she was Sage's mother, doesn't save you.

It can be annoying, but I really like that choices we make, with seemingly no connection (i.e. Rusty/Bianca) have consequences.

I'm not sure if I remember right, but didn't we get a scene where MC narrate that he "would've done something sooner if he knew"?

If that's the case, I wouldn't put past it being something REALLY rough, like an hanging rope if she tried to commit suicide when "the thing that happened to her husband happened" (which I don't remember if we learnt? if he's dead, divorced?)

People suspected something like a kid room or BDSM, but it wouldn't fit the "If I had known, I would've called out for help".

And I just watched back the interactions with Bella in Ep1.. I know you can't really based an argument on this since it was the beginning and DPC was fleshing out his characters, but... She's the Ice Queen, she's checked out, seem uninterested, when she catch you naked, she's just angry and judgmental... And the moment you tell that you lost your mother at birth, she completely changed... So it might've been the moment her plans shifted (or she pushed them further a little bit). She didn't have the same urge that night. The day after, she saw Jill and MC talk, so she went into "Protect Jill" mode and wanted to make sure he wasn't the kind of boy who would take advantage of the situation with a vulnerable Jill (which fit with the diner she wanted to have with MC). Then she started being more and more happy, making more friends and being a teacher (which I don't remember if it was her goal when she was a librarian or if she became a teacher just because they were short staff).

I kinda hope I'm not cooking.....
