Yeah. Normally, a patient would be accompanied by one family member when seeking medical treatment, and it would definitely be Maya. If these three girls are sitting here, it would either mean MC and Bella stayed at home, or they are having a separate conversation in another scene at the hospital—I personally think the latter is more likely.

iam not even sure they are in this scene because of Derek. Not wanna sound cold... but his injury is not such a big deal that everybody has to be sitting there waiting for a doctor to come by "it was close.... very close... but maybe we safed the thumbnail, we have to watch him closely over night or he might die" ... i mean, the Black Knight would say "Tis' but a scratch" or "just a Fleshwound"

So maybe only Maya is with Derek, and the others are in this preview scene because of Bella? And Jills mood is worse than Josys and Sages isnt it? And Jill is not exactly a good friend of Derek i would say. But Josy and Sage are her best friends besides Bella, MC and Bianca... so to me it seems, they are more there for her? And Bella is maybe in the care of a psychologist or somebody like that right now?

Dunno, i remember a dinner with friends maybe 15 years ago, and a acquaintance of mine did cut himself very deep in the hand. We drove him very fast to a nearby clinic, and were sitting there around and waiting for him to get patched up. But the overall mood was totally fine, we laughed a bit about everything too because it was so stupid how it happened (no he didnt try to open a bottle like Derek did, he was just helping cutting some vegetables)... everybody knew he would be fine but will have a nasty scar afterwards. But it was not something to look the way Jill does here, especially if you are not that good friends? Of course we cared for him, but yeah.... it was justa deep cut, 1 hour and 12 stitches later plus some painkillers and we set at home again and ordered pizza instead of coooking ourselfs. Its more or less the same for Derek i guess... of course he will make a big fuss like "iam gonna die, please Maya and Assman stay by my side, i already see the light" ... "yes the light on the ceiling"

Yeah my gut tells me, they are not waiting for Derek there.

It's actually pretty hard to draw conclusions about their emotions from this. They seem more angry than anything else, but at the same time they feel guilty for being angry. Like it's a very selfish reaction in the situation.

At this point just about everyone here knows about my theory of Bella and Lynette having been friends, but this situation actually works without it too. It just makes more sense if Bella's secrets are somehow connected to MC personally regardless of path.

As I envision it we return to the moment of shock after the recap and flashback. For the moment everyone is kind of frozen and either Bella or MC takes over the situation. They tell the girls to get into Jill's car and drive Derek to the hospital. Jill drives, Sage is in the front seat with the iced fingertip and Josy and Maya look after Derek in the backseat. They've got Derek to the hospital and now he is in the care of the doctors and Maya is either getting the news on how it went or anxiously waiting for it.

MC and Bella are still at her house, one of them has been overcome by the shock of the situation and the other is trying to deal with it after sending the girls and Derek to the hospital. What I can't decide is which way around is more satisfying. Bella being the one who goes to pieces or MC.

Did DPC reveal something here?

The MC is wearing the same shirt in the trailer as in the preview with Maya. However, the locations are different. One of them is definitely a gym, judging by the markings on the floor. A gym has locker rooms and showers, but not facilities like the one in the Maya preview.

I'm wondering if there are two different New Year's Eve parties. One with the Alphas and many HOTs (Others Branch), and another with the LIs (LI Branches) at a different location.

If the MC wins the fighting tournament, he'll be highly regarded by the Alphas and will probably be allowed to celebrate New Year's Eve with them at the gym. But if the MC doesn't participate in the fighting tournament and plays guitar at the college Christmas party, he might meet some important people. Philip already hinted at this, suggesting the party would be a good opportunity to meet people. What if Geoff invites the MC and some of his friends to a New Year's Eve party?

So you admit now that that the fighting tournament and the faculty party are separate?
