She's got insecurities about some of her physical characteristics i.e. short, small boobs. She's aware that she talks a lot and that it rubs a lot of people the wrong way. She's even self conscious and somewhat ashamed of her own lust, and ease of achiving orgasms.

Josy is also a bit of a mess emotionally, and finds herself in a tricky situation along with the MC and Maya. It also seems like Josy is not only in love with the MC, but loves him intently and on a completely different level than what she has with Maya. I think the player will have an easier time getting back on josy's path compared to Maya's, if the player chose friendship. Also her extroverted, happy go lucky nature is already causing some tension, and I'm sure it will also cause the MC some problems.

Besides there will stuff with Tommy in the future, and Josy's blabbermouth will make her slip up with Chad if the player confided her. Imagine the tension outing Chad, will generate between her and Maya. I think Maya's background will make her immensely sympathetic towards Chad, and furious at Josy for slipping.

From Josy family problems, a storyline can be maked, but I just don't know what to take as a basis. Problems with Tommy and stepmom? No, it's too small. They reconciled with their father. But Josy mother - it's interesting. We haven't been presented with it yet. What if it's someone we know?

I do not quite understand her complexes due to her height. MC himself says that many guys like short girls (for example, it's me) and I think here she is too categorical towards herself. This is something that you need to overcome in yourself and accept it as it is. A person can gain / lose weight, change their hairstyle, get a facelift or pump up their lips. But growth cannot be changed and it just needs to be accepted.

About Chad, I just told Josy everything and munching on popcorn in anticipation of the storm.

Totally agree about Josy/Maya. All of their relationships, storyline and drama are focused on Maya. But again: she needs a story, and now Maya is dragging her down. At the beginning of the game, it was an eternal argument: who is better, Josie or Maya?
Now other girls have come to the fore, who overshadow Trouple.
If we look at the current polls, then Sage and Jill are now fighting for the podium. And as much as I dislike Jill, I would prefer Maya to her in the place of a "good girl", but public opinion says a lot. Trouple shouldn't be entirely focused on Maya.

I wouldn't say Josy doesn't have the storyline. She's just lacks drama and that's why she's stand out (well, she'll have a little drama if player chose to have feelings to her after being rejected). Literally every other girl have some drama behind her but Josy.

What we know about her so far?
She's a daddy's girl (loves her father much more than mom), likes a little bit of trouble (a lot of examples, starting with stolen booze and Steve's picture). She was the initiator with Maya and somewhat with MC too.

If you look from the outside Josy is the regular non-dramatic main girl from any decent AVN. The only problem (for most people here) till now that she is a part of a bunch.

Personally I like those occasions when Josy's character stands out unexpectedly - when she kicks Tommy or when it turns out she fear the height And don't forget the sweater

I think that's just her mission in this story - to be that girl-next-door some people go crazy about. Nothing more.

I see that many have put Quinn, but what do you expect might happen for her story?

I agree that the absence from the previews is not significant, but other than her involvement in organizing the Halloween party there are no elements that bring her up in any significant way.

on the other hand i understand those who talk about M&J, assuming the meeting with Burke is somehow significant (i don't believe it at all) it could mark the beginning of the solo routes. beyond that there will still be the moment of MC's declaration of them and hopefully the real beginning of the trouple.

I put Quinn first because while some of the story elements that could unfold with each LI are intriguing, watching the Quinn relationship continue to evolve trumps all of that for me.

"Released to date" as far as I am aware this update which is still in the works has not been released.

Was comparing it to episode 8, which is what 3/3.5 times bigger than the interlude, yet it took 30 weeks and the Interlude which is the smallest update to date and took 15 weeks.

Maybe calm down and read the words first before you go and solve the wrong equation, yeah?

Perhaps it's simply a mistake to presume that doing 3x as much work in just 2x as long time is the norm, and any performance falling short of that is nothing but "milking" or something equally ridiculous?

The guy has 2 more seasons, that is 8 episodes, planned and to be yet produced and released. It'll take him years as it is to produce it, presumably getting paid all this time. He hardly has any need to slow his work down on purpose on per-episode basis.

It's mind boggling if you think that each of those 4600+ renders are vital to this update. There are great games that have managed without creating a render for each finger movement. As a result the size of this rendered images game is starting to compete with that of large open world games with much more content. Oh and don't get me started on the irrelevant D&G bs, that stuff exists only for padding and nothing else. Same as quite a few other parts of the game.

If you think DPC is not trying to prolong the lifespan of BaDIK, you are laughably naive. His previous game was nowhere near as successful and seeing as how he's obsessed with cashflow nowadays, it would be stupid of him not to milk it at this point. It's fine to like the game, but stop being in denial and defending DPC like he's some kind of saint. He's just a guy like any other.

Have to disagree regarding Josy... (about the lack of attention)

First of all, all the girls have kinda big drama going on. So much that its a little tireing too. I remember well when i played the game the first time (at that time Episode 3 was just around the corner and released while i started playing)

We gonna meet Josy and she is just perfect, the sweet little cutie we have a huge crush on (is still my favorite girl in the game, followed by Jill, yep iam a Jill fan, suck it up), of course she is taken and the Quest for winning Josy over starts... Dont need much more

And then we meet one girl after another... and the drama starts, Maya has big time drama, Bella big time drama (but hidden from the MC for know, doesnt matter for the player though, its there, and its big), Jill of course too and it will get bigger along the way with her family issues, tybalt and what not. Ah and sage got drama too... drama i dont really care for, fuck chad and why does she clinge so much on that relationship? Will never get that. Everstime we met a new girl i start rolling my eyes when i sense the drama with them... like "oh come on not again big drama coming along with a girl... maya is enough, i just want Josy"

Josy is the only girl with no real drama beside her emotional rollercoaster. SO FAR.

But there is a huge build up going on and all of this will explode further down... To me Josy more feels like THE main girl out of all the girls... a long time i thought its more Jill, i mean, come on she does the instruction too But everything is kinda connected with Josy. Tommy, MC knows her way before College starts, there are hints that she might know Zoey too (brother of a "friend" baught the alcohol and such) I dont see any scenario that the Maya/Josy realtionship is gonna work without the MC being in this. AND Josy is the only girl so far where the MC can be rejected and there are STILL strong feelings shown, thats complete unique in the whole game... (yeah you can say to derek that you have feelings for maya in EP5, but nothing comes out of it, Josy has several scenes after that where its just one step from starting to get serious) anmd she is literally friends with everyone.

DPC gave her very much attention, just in another way than the other girls...

She is the sweet cute but although little devilish girl who befriends everyone... but everything around her will explode down the road in some way... Tommy and the throuple is huge conflict potential that will blow up, and she is not a passive girl like Maya who lets everythign just "happen" no Josy will take action. And maybe she will take collateral damage with the whole quinn/Tommy drug things and get in that way too. and the overall plot will not go on without involving Josy very much... as i said, she is not a passive girl, she will take action when she see something she dont like... and the free tuition thing? Uuhh Josy will do something about it within the HOTs, iam sure of it. She will go little police-detective for sure

It was just not the time for big Josy drama so far, but attention wise, i think Josy got the most... she even has the most lewd scenes so far if iam not mistaken.

The whole Josy-arch is just different so far from all the others. (one point why i like her so much) It feels more "normal" with her overall. And the chemistry between her and the MC is the best too i think... you can kinda "relive" the feelings between them and watch them grow, with Jill its similar but not on that level. With all the others its more like a "head over heels" thing, even for maya which feels really odd considering her character.

I think Josy got enough attention from DPC (well for me its never enough Josy ) and he decided to not give her that kind of drama like all the others, so he has at least one "normal" college girl in the game. As for now at least... but as i said, she will get her big drama, more than enough, maybe starting with episode 9... cause there is no way the maya thing with the burkes will unfold in a good way, and that will effect the throuple/M&J couple big time... and i think there is a big reason too why Josy and Maya didnt get a scene in episode 8 where the MC tells them he wants to get serious like he did with every other girl. Cause its not meant to be that the throuple will last for now... my guess? the throuple will come to an end in episode 9 (or better said Josy and Maya will seprate for a while), not forever for sure, but for a time being, cause Josy cant eat that shit anymore when maya starts drama again.

Josy just wants to be happy, and i like that very much about her. But she will not escape drama forever. And i have a feeling her drama can get bigger than we think cause it will not just be "one thing" like for all the others but several things that add up.
