I disagree. Voice acting can spoil the imaginative perception. The visual component is quite enough for imagination.

If poorly implemented, this will break the immersion, fortunately I have an example of a game that does this well. I think if DPC wanted to make sound effects, he would do it well. This guy is good at almost everything in his game, albeit slowly.
I'm only talking about the sound effects of lewd scenes, not full voice acting.

You always have the option to turn off sounds but if they'll never be added in the first place you'll never get to know how it turns out. And that to me is an artistic approach I would always aim for. If nearly everyone tells you it's wasted money and it sounds like shit (after implementing it for Episode 10 for example) you could always go back to how things were.

So basically what you saying, is he should waste a bunch of money for experiencing with something that may or may not end up good, but overall, is not important, because he is already making a game that is succesful.

I was excited in the past to see what their relationship would be like, but I'm not that excited now. Since the DPC loves drama, I have a feeling Zoey will be in shock with the MC change. Even the CHICK MC looks nothing like the guy Zoey used to know.

In episode 9, DPC put a lot of focus on Zoey's reactions to finding out what life was like for the MC in college. In a canon scenario, she found out that her best friend is just one of the most popular guys in school, he's in a fraternity of party boys and troublemakers and is still extremely respected by the members.

DPC will flirt with the idea that Zoey feels insecure because she believes that the MC doesn't need her for anything anymore, since he can now fly with his own wings. You can write it down and charge me later.

That excerpt from the WT is about the status (there it is referred as 'mood'). But I was speaking about the affinity, which although related to the status, it is not the same. The mood or status (ranging from massive chick to massive DIK) can change quickly during the course of the game, because most decisions score points towards your chick or your DIK self. The affinity, on the other hand, changes only upon making major choices (15 in total for the first two seasons). It is the affinity of your character that influences the MC's personality and relationships the most.

You are right. But I chose this screenshot because it shows how DPC defined the personality traits of CHICK and DIK for itself.

Ergo, the DIK and CHICK affinity are based on the personality traits defined by DPC. The Major Choice actually manifest the personality traits of the player and NEUTRAL actually just shows so the player doesn't know what he wants.

This becomes interesting when there are only limited Major Choice.

With a DIK or CHICK affinity, the player always has the NEUTRAL option. But with the NEUTRAL affinity, the player only sometimes (not always) has a decision corresponding to the status or made earlier in the game, as an additional choice available. Consequently, it can happen so that the player has no decision-making power at all, because NEUTRAL is automatically adopted or the opposite of what the player actually wants.

For my part, I want to make decisions. If I don't like the CHICK option, with a CHICK affinity I always have the NEUTRAL option, which goes towards DIK. With a DIK affinity, the NEUTRAL option always goes towards CHICK.

I still wouldn't be able to do this and never will be. I have two Jill runs and in both different girls were dicked by MC.

I've worked on static renders all week and I've gotten through several scenes. It's been solely story-related scenes and I've been working on Bella, Sage, Josy, Maya, Jill, Quinn, Riona, the DIKs, and more. I've worked plenty on clothes and environments and posed around 230 renders and one SFW animation this week.
I checked the script to see how many written scenes lacked art. I counted 13 written story scenes ranging from short to long left to pose static renders for and three free-roam events that are partially written but without art.
Checking the different branches, there is work left there as well. Out of all branches, I've been busiest with the Others' branch so far. The main girl branches all need more content, which I haven't written yet but have planned.
Comparing my current numbers to episode 9, we get:

• 44% static renders (2237/5037)
• 52% writing
• 49% animations (148/303)

The animations in my render queue are now below 40, and in a few days, the more demanding lewd scenes I mentioned in an earlier status update will be completed. I believe the render speed of the animations will increase shortly after that.
This likely means I have 2-3 more weeks of other work before returning to posing lewd scenes. I will be spending most of this time posing static renders but also doing some writing.

At the moment, it's hard to say how big this episode will be, and it's not necessarily fair to compare it to the biggest episode in the game like I just did.
At least it gives us all a feeling of being close to 50% completed overall, which I also believe it is. Please take the numbers and percentages with a grain of salt.
You can look forward to another preview next week, the first preview of Zoey's special render set and more of the Clone series. 17 girls remain in the Clone series; hopefully, most of your favorite girls are covered with it.

Question with this is if those are rendered or posed. I'd lean towards rendered, since in week 7 he had 74 animations completed so to have only rendered 34 animations in the last 7 weeks would be a slow down but in line with typical episode 9 progress. (though he did mention a slow to render lewd scene)

If they are rendered, then progres is in line with episode 8, which could point to a July release. If not it's closer to episode 9 which could point to September or even October.

You need DIK MC, competition with girls for a drink (the first act of the party). Select the option "Spilling beer on boobs will not disqualification" or "neg Becky". These are the options I have tried.
