You both make the point I was referring to.
If DPC wouldn't have obsessed with these poorly thought-out and executed tertiary plot devices, that bring practically nothing to main story. If he wouldn't be wasting as much time on those, maybe he'd have more time to properly write the main Maya drama plot properly. As well as make the secondary plots (Sage, Jill, Bella & Zoey) acceptable. But as it is, I doubt even Disney (already kings of shitty productions) would ever want to get near a story like this, if the script landed on their desk.

So sure it makes sense to ask for more garbage...

The lack of MG storyline has less to do with other plots and more to do with the fact that he made them all boring. The MGs are written, except Sage and a little bit of Josy to appeal to the CHICK playerbase and boring is as boring does.

Spending more time on the Maya story would only make things worse, she's had far too much screen time already, and the fact that all she has to do is hide her relationship with Josy and there's no issue makes it far worse than the idiot girl who doesn't know what a student loan is.

Sage's story literally revolves around Quinn, without Quinn she's just a girl who's boyfriend was gay. Her parents are now getting divorced which is interesting but it will be far more interesting through Jade's perspective.

And speaking of Jade, she's what makes Bella's story feel weak in that Bella is the same story except introduced later and with an absentee husband instead of a character we know, which makes it weaker.

Jill has a dead sister and a drunk daddy, and Bianca is the only thing that makes Jill at all interesting. But you believe these others are trash so not sure what you find interesting about Jill.

And you bring up Zoey, literally reintroduced in episode 8, that's some late game trash using your logic.

And it's a good thing you didn't mention Josy because like Pinkcakes, I have nothing to say about Josy.

She has no place, and reason to be in this branch

Quinn and Lily has the most of content
Rio and Envy has good amount of content
Cammy has not enough content
Jade has more less content
Sarah+Mel toughter has few content
Nora and Cathy arent deserve to mention that few content
(at least i got this feeling)

the upcoming RTX 5090 wil have 32GB of VRAM, that's quite the upgrade from the RTX 4090s that DPC currently uses that "only" have 24GB. Also, they will have around 30% more cuda cores.

DPC already complained in a report that he was running out of VRAM while rendering some complex scenes, let's hope that means he will upgrade his hardware next year when the 5090s come out.

They should give him a bit more power, he wil probably waste most of it like he wasted the 4090s power with the 60fps animations, but even if it only speeds things up just a bit its something.

Also, not like he has a budget issue at this point.

Sitting here all the time still gets boring, even when the game is fun. With such long development cycles, interesting topics for discussion quickly ends.
If waiting time will be 1.5 - 2 years, i doubt that i will stick here regular.

I know the pain, love this game to the death, but the waiting absolutely sucks.

That's getting harder and harder. Sure, I've the worst spammers here on ignore too. But the thread is bloated anyway and one really loose the motivation to look into the thread and clicking through ten pages. What this thread needs is a mod who threadbanned some of the circle jerkers. I mean, why don't use an off-topic thread for waifu wars and meme competitions? It's not that I'm against it or I hate the users who does this. It's just not a good place. This thread is unbearable. But obviously mods don't give a flying duck.

I doubt the pictures were intended as a warning. For a warning you wouldn't send pictures, you would just say "Hey, you need to be more careful where you make out with your BF, I saw you at place XYZ." And Chad thought it was some sort of blackmail attempt, because after getting them he attacked MC.

I myself have read about DPC so that there will be no IC. But what I have not read is that MC's mother is definitely and irrevocably no longer alive. But that doesn't really matter.

Let's get to the IC. Josy, Maya, Isabella and Quinn are definitely excluded as possible family members from the MC because canonical sexual acts take place. All other characters are possible because it depends on the players' playing style. If the player refrains from all sexual acts with Jill, Heather, Sage, Melanie, Sarah, etc., then there is the theoretical possibility that the MC could be related to one or more girls because then there is no IC.

Neil and Lynette provide the possibilities themselves. In the diary we read how Neil asked Luis if he still remembers the girl from a year ago. In connection with what Neil said, that you could leave without a condom with more than you came, this not only points to STD, but also to another child from Neil. It is also interesting that Lynette only returned to Neil after 3, 5 or 7 days. All it takes is a fast swim from another guy. What if the MC is not Neil's biological son and the MC's biological father has other children?

Only DPC knows whether this will happen or not. But it would theoretically be possible without it coming to IC.

if mc's mom truely loved her husband, than mc's dad is mc's dad. (and this should be the reason why drop out mc's mom the family money to be with a poor guy) rich girls mostly looking for more rich husband.

i cant imagine a situation where Neil knows he has an another child, but dont care with him/her. just not fit in his personality. maybe the mom said to Neil to stay away, but Neil isnt that type who stay away just because she said.

So I finished episode 10, Sage branch and my first run of the game and I found something that fucking bothers me. I’m NEUTRAL affinity and at the end of the Halloween party, during the sex scene, there is a posture that you only are able to unlock if you are DIK affinity. I found this fucking annoying and unfear for the players. You already had to choose during episode 8 with which girl pursue, closing others paths and scenes, and now you tell me that I can’t fully experience the branch I choose because of the affinity?

Maybe it’s me, because at the end it doesn’t affect the history, but if you made the player committed to a path don’t cut content from it because of the affinity. The dev should not limit the experience if you are NEUTRAL, CHICK or DIK once you chose a girlfriend. Because if Sage branch would be limited depending of your affinity, don’t put her as a choice in the first place. It’s a waste of time and resources.

I get what you mean I never got around to playing my Others branch save in S3 because I found out there is a Chik only choice for Nicole during Episode 10 and I didn't feel like restarting as I was burnt out from replaying all the branches lol.

Boring could also be read as lacking drama, which the other girls have buckets-full. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the Josy-Tommy issue being played up a little, but let's not go overboard like the others.

Josy does have a storyline and yes insecurities are a storyline but lets put that to the side. Would you say Sage has a story? If the answer is yes then that also means Josy has a story how you ask they share every single storyline Sage has Josy has and in fact Josy had it first the only one Josy doesn't share is president of the hots everything else is the same. Some will say most of Josy story takes place before the game, I don't care it still counts just the same
