someone asked about the fight screens for episode 11.. sorry i lost your OP.. This is most likely aftermath of heather/Tommy situation regardless of if you went with her or not..

The fact there are no remorseful or people looking in shock at rio's abduction prob means that most of the shots at what seems to be a lodge at xmas will be an event and freeroam party from later in the episode, possibly the closing party for the episode..

The underwear zoe and co. shots are from the Panty Party Tommy alluded to in an earlier episode.. so thats at least 2 parties we can plan or attend in this episode..

I suspect that Rio's abduction will go a few ways.. instant resolved.. long term - people dont know where she is or her being missing is somehow covered so people dont realise she hasnt just gone home for the holidays etc.. or it will be a ongoing story arc resolved in episode 12..

Sage will have a emotional arc depending on various aspects like if you went with jade while romancing her as well.. if you kept the recording secret or had it leaked.. as well as a defualt route where your supporting her as she deals with the divorce of her parents regardless of boyfriend or friend routes..

I havent seen much of Lily in the release shots but given the 'warming up' route between her and mc had during thanksgiving camp out, personally id like to see this evolve further.. Although im still not 100% she isnt a cop lol

I really can't see how Rio's abduction could be long term, even if Quinn lied and said she had an family emergency that made her leave for a while people would start to get very worried if she didnt answer any messages or calls.

Its probably going to be a quick solution, just a scare tactic to make Quinn back down from Vinny territory.

that was my theory for the quick resolution.. long term quinn might not have a choice but to keep quiet and cover if she is having her hand forced by Vinny.. as for everyone else thats more tricky to work around but the whole no signal in her home area could work via quinn.. i havent seen much of quinn either in scenes so there story could be told away from the main mc tracked plot

I don't think it's cherrypicking, I think it's choosing episodes that are closer to his experience level and hardware. I know I've repeated this a bajillion times but again, all of my numbers only give slack to Episode 10 (and Episode 11) considering it was supposed to be using better hardware, so you really can't compare Episode 7 and 8 to it 1:1, yet even in a losing battle episode 7 is VASTLY more efficient.

That's not true tho, Episode 10 has a lower rate of renders than both Episode 4 and 5. If you include animations it becomes a bit more even, but again I just think animations end up contributing very little to the enjoyment of the episode. The ratio for Seconds Animated/week for Episodes 4, 5, and 7 is 22.6, 25.6, and 29.6 respectively. Pretty close imo, but in the end what that oftentimes contributes to anyway is just scenes like an animation showing the Mansion decorated for Halloween or Zoey running... Things that I personally would have been fine just seeing a still image for.

Of course this is just my personal opinion, and more power to you if you're a big fan of those animations, but I just don't think they're worth the extra time the game has taken.

But... This is the exact thing I'm criticizing... He's investing more time into an animation that for all intents and purposes is the exact same as if he... didn't do that. Not sure what you think my argument is, it's not that the machines are rendering the stills and animations slower, it's that DPC is deliberately making decisions that lengthen the development time with little impact to the overall enjoyment of the game, like I said in my original comment:

Total renders are static + anim * 30. Episode 10 is anim * 45 since half the duration of renders are at 60 fps.

So yeah, episodes 7 & 8 were killing it. 10 isn't too bad comparatively speaking, and 7, 8 & 10 shit over all the other episodes.

Totally agree that the excessive and unnecessary animations are the main problem with dragging on each new episode. But everyone's been saying that all along.

Basically, Maya's no different from Sage and the other girls. She is outgoing, although she considers herself an introvert( why?).
She dresses boldly for someone who lived in a strict family. She easily makes contact with strangers.


I played episode 10. In episode 10, Patrick is not presented as a religious fanatic. He is shown as an unhappy father.
If Patrick really was a religious fanatic, Maya would dress like Jill, be afraid to talk to a stranger, and definitely be heterosexual.
As I said I don't see any pressure from Patrick if first of all Maya can dress as she wants, secondly she is too outgoing for the withdrawn and under constant pressure daughter of a tyrant father, thirdly we hardly see any complexes about her appearance.

Her development as a character is an exploration of her heterosexuality, not a rebellion against her father. We haven't seen her complexes, her constant doubts about her appearance, her behavior, or her reflections on moral compasses.
But this is just an AVN game. And a porn game has a lot of forgiveness.

You might be right. Personally, I hope the MC finds out and you get a chance to be really pissed about it. I'm also hoping this will be the final nail in the coffin when it comes to the Rio-Quinn relationship since she promised Rio that she was completely safe and even mocked her for feeling unsafe. I'm still super annoyed that Quinn managed to fix it after Rio found out she was blamed for the money problems.

agreed on the divorcing quinn/rio connection.. id recently gone back through after losing my save files so a whole seasons 1-3 episode run was needed setting out the paths once again but knowing how things pan out on Rio's story this time i was able to set her and camilla their own save page, much like sarah/mel even tho im doubtful we will ever see anything significant on that one even if you choose sarah as best ass, as quinns freebie and as your entry to the best outfit.. only minor dialogues are changed.. Rio however has slowly been becoming more of a front runner side chick for the Others route

Strange. Maybe the persistent file in %APPDADA% is the only one the game looks to decide if the gallery should be unlocked or not?

You could try to copy the persistent file you have in your "game\saves" folder into the "appdata\roaming\renpy\beingadik..." folder too, just to try... But mine is just a wild guess.

Didn't think about that, but it's worth a try the worst thing that could happen is that the gallery is still locked
