The official walkthrough is incomplete and only shows me Season 1 episodes 1-4 if I'm not mistaken.Maybe follow the official walkthrough instead? I think it's you, I doubt the mod has gone an entire year without anyone catching on that Jill's path isn't working.
He's been a massive CHICK since the very beginning. He cries to Sage to give back his guitar, he cries to Bella when explaining why he's naked, he mopes over Josy for all of Season 1, he's the world's biggest drama queen after the end of Episode 3. You're essentially ignoring a lot of the story and character work.I think you missed my point. Again. That's okay. MC turns into a massive CHICK with feelings rather than a DIK between seasons 2 & 3.
What's the point of Affinity & the meter if the choices I'm making the MC do is not reflected in the game?
One walkthrough per season, there's 2 more. The official walkthrough is incomplete and only shows me Season 1 episodes 1-4 if I'm not mistaken.
There is no misinterpreting DPC here, what's the point of the Affinity being MASSIVE DIK if MC still goes through a moral dilemma over his CHICK feelings?Except the intention was never to have "nothing tying the MC down". It's a college-based dating sim but not some generically crafted one that you are playing it as. DPC's intention from the beginning was to put his own spin on it, ergo not just a "college frat party boy lifestyle" avn. He has always had a linear storyline in mind with an organic setting and living characters.
Reading through your comments, I'm of the mind that you're citing DPC without having actually seen his comments. If I am wrong, and you have read through his earliest words about BADIK, you seem to be purposely misinterpreting the statements DPC made. Nothing changed in terms of the story being told, characters were more fleshed out and increased in number but what you're speaking of simply has you coming off as obtuse.
My MC feeling himself very nice as a Massive Dik, thanks very much. see ?I think you missed my point. Again. That's okay. MC turns into a massive CHICK with feelings rather than a DIK between seasons 2 & 3.

Exactly, I'm asking what in the world is going on? The Affinity bar and all of that is almost literally pointless as it needlessly blocks content for no reason other than to be there. He's been a massive CHICK since the very beginning. Massive DIK =/= NO MORAL DILEMMAMy MC feeling himself very nice as a Massive Dik, thanks very much. see ?

but, regardless how you play him, he always has an emotional side, what was been there since the beginning too and did not change at all. so really don't know what the F you talk about.
It changes the personality of the MC. The way he acts and talks. Some girls prefer a certain type of person and other care less. It's rather logical.Massive DIK =/= NO MORAL DILEMMA
Neutral =/= Best of Both Worlds (perhaps?)
Massive CHICK =/= OH NO I HAS FEELINGS!?!?
Does that clear it up for you? The point of the Affinity bar is literally almost next to pointless if not just to cuck-block content in a weird built-in game difficulty setting.
Your question has become absolutely inane and ignorant to our responses. The affinity mechanic has portrayed that it will block you off from content from the very first episode. It's a poorly crafted mechanism, sure, but it has always been less impactful than you want it to be and in my initial response I stated exactly the answer to your question. It's a linear storyline, as in when DPC wants Fuckface to act a certain way for the plot, regardless of affinity, the boy will act that way.Massive DIK =/= NO MORAL DILEMMA
Neutral =/= Best of Both Worlds (perhaps?)
Massive CHICK =/= OH NO I HAS FEELINGS!?!?

so you missenprated the affinity system a bit . The MC has a default personality which you can alter, one way or another, but he won't be a different person.Exactly, I'm asking what in the world is going on? The Affinity bar and all of that is almost literally pointless as it needlessly blocks content for no reason other than to be there.
I have a few, this one is one of my favoriteSo guys, what's your favorite Affinity-specific scene, lewd or not? Helping Quinn in Episode 6 is a good one. Despite requiring DIK affinity, it is very emotional and has more going on this just raw sex. One might call it semi-CHICK![]()
Massive DIK =/= there are moral dilemmas, the MC just becomes impulsive and a jerk i.e. Being a DIK.Massive DIK =/= NO MORAL DILEMMA

I have a few, this one is one of my favorite, Josy's reaction also priceless

Massive DIK =/= there are moral dilemmas, the MC just becomes impulsive and a jerk i.e. Being a DIK.
Neutral =/= It is the same as CHICK but with additional liberties.
Massive CHICK =/= Canonical personality of the MC.

As I said, for me they're the same thing with slight differences and options. As long as it allows me to fight vinny it will work for me.Wrong,
Neutral is the canon personality of MC, but they usually share the same dialogue with the chick mc, except in a few case, when it depend on status. probably for easier writing.
It would be nightmare to write a scene with 3 different dialogue depending on MC " personality" , so Neutral and chick, share it while Dik, get a bit more freedom. Hence his response to Tommy, to fuck you , or him showing his middle finger, or this scene :

an another favorite dik affinity moment![]()
Correct. The canonical personality of the MC is completely separate from all 3 paths, as others have already said. The Path you choose simply modifies that "default personality" slightly in one direction or another. And personally I enjoy it, having small dialogue changes that influence the way you want your MC to be is nice.
And if you don't want to miss any content, just save before every major decision so you can do all three options.
that depend on various different factors not just affinity. at least for Neutral it depend on your previous choice, I think you had to Fight with the Jocks and Caleb. As I said, for me they're the same thing with slight differences and options. As long as it allows me to fight vinny it will work for me.![]()
I don't know why you keep saying Official Walkthrough is incomplete. IT IS NOT INCOMPLETE! They are separate files.Correct.
And just to clarify for those dog piling me. I'm not stupid and I didn't break my game -- at least not intentionally. As I understood the mechanics & the MC from the early bouts of Season 1 Episodes 1-4, these are how I understood them to work, I hadn't played in years because I wanted to give the game time for DPC to flesh things out.
So once I started the game up again (about a week ago trying different paths etc.) I find weird things to be odd in my opinion to be inconsistent. Such as a Story path not following said story path into season 3 as if the save being imported didn't get imported correctly -- so I'm assuming yes, the game broke, but not by my intention to break it if the story paths from Season 1-2 are not following & carrying over into Season 3.
So, my bad for using a mod that seems like the better choice for following story paths than an incomplete official walkthrough that only lists season 1 episode 1-4 content.
