The drugs thing: I think Buddy was angry because Vinny was making extra profit on the side by jacking up prices and pocketing the extra cash, then only giving Buddy the take from the "normal" prices. Buddy was angry with Quinn because Quinn was running her own side business but not giving him a cut, and she sold drugs for lower prices than Vinny got away with while still being higher than what Buddy thought she was selling them for. Vinny's sin was far greater.Towards everyone considering the Lana segment as "wasted":
To me it kinda looks like Lana got into the crossfire between Buddy and Rex or am i wrong?
I suspect Buddy killed Rex (after rex threatened him with a knife) with the fentayl coke and as Jonathan only asked for a "rookie package", rex just gave him a bit from the stuff which he used himself at this moment/evening which lead to buddy kinda acidentally killing lana too (not that he gives a shit).
The whole drug storyline is kinda strange tho imo, which dealer would ever care which prices sub-dealers take from the customers ... ? He can just raise his prices if he thinks he can get more for it ..... its kinda nonsensical.
And just because Quinn and Vinny sell the dope more expensive, Buddy decides to disfigure both Riona and Vinny instead of just selling the drugs more expensive to them lol. Torturing a college student like that is so over the top for basically no reason and a lot of risk of being exposed.
If buddy acted this unhinged and reckless the whole time since rex died in a area like that, he would simply be long gone already.
The way Vinny and Buddy act/behave is just too much over the top evil clown imo, it doesnt fit the surroundings, they would have been dead/in jail for a long time already if they acted like that the whole time. And whats up with Vinny trying to force Lily to buy stuff from him and lily caving lol? It doesnt work like that, not even mexican cartells force people to become their cumstomers
And Quinn's "masterplan" is simply to rat them out and hope her recording is enough to keep them all in jail? Even if it would work with buddy ... what about vinny and mick and who knows who else? And isnt this putting a HYPER BIG RED CROSS on riona, riona's mom and quinn herself for retaliation? What is she thinking?

And yeah, Quinn is crazy. She's also got a boot on her throat: Buddy's. She might as well be his slave right now. This is going to get messy and ugly. But her only other option is get a gun and silencer, then try killing them all in one encounter while praying she doesn't get shot or captured.
And Lily: She recognizes that Vinny is not entirely sane. He'll hurt Lily or someone Lily cares about just to send a message and boost his rep so that the next person caves without resistance. He's counting on Lily and the others not going to the cops because they've been buying drugs. While Vinny would be much deeper in the hole than Lily in that case, it would still fuck up Lily's life, and he knows Lily isn't about to commit double-suicide that way. It takes a special kind of spiteful nihilist to call that kind of bluff and ride it out to mutual destruction.
Also, look at where Riona is living. She's practically gutter trash, in Buddy's mind. She and her mom don't have money to pay for legal fees or to survive while upending their lives in pursuit of justice. They're the kind of people society doesn't care about. Vinny would've been able to tell him that, even if Rio's mother wasn't already known to Buddy. Now, if he did anything like this to Jill, it'd be a five-alarm fire. Vinny, Buddy, and their whole operation would be done. But not for Rio.
Whats wrong with you guys lol, nobody is forcing you to play the updates.

It's a control thing. If the subdealers are adding a high markup then it suggests they could try and go independent or take control of the enterprise.
And the whole thing with Buddy's actions towards Riona and Vinny is meant to demonstrate it's all falling apart. It's seemed for a while his enterprise is crumbling apart and all that was/is keeping it afloat are the regular customers of college students and the Pink Rose staff.

I just think its kinda nonsensical, this behavior would not even fit in some slum or mexican cartell area and even less in our surroundings and would have prefered if Vinny and Quinn would have tried to fuck buddy over in another/smater way to make this whole storyline (which i like, just not this reasoning) better.
They could have laced their stuff too strongly because of greed (esp vinny) which would have led to too many od's which leads to more exposure for buddy or something like that but i guess it would have made Quinn even more evil.
