It takes a special kind of spiteful nihilist to call that kind of bluff and ride it out to mutual destruction.

Also, look at where Riona is living. She's practically gutter trash, in Buddy's mind. She and her mom don't have money to pay for legal fees or to survive while upending their lives in pursuit of justice. They're the kind of people society doesn't care about. Vinny would've been able to tell him that, even if Rio's mother wasn't already known to Buddy. Now, if he did anything like this to Jill, it'd be a five-alarm fire. Vinny, Buddy, and their whole operation would be done. But not for Rio.

It's a control thing. If the subdealers are adding a high markup then it suggests they could try and go independent or take control of the enterprise.

I get that it is supposed to be like that in this story, im just saying its dumb and doesnt reflect reality (from my experience). Usually the guy with the source just sells for whatever prices he can (considering the competition) and the subdealers try to get the highest profit for themself out of it and so on.

If buddy sells them weed for 5$/g and they get 10$/g and he would suspect that, he could/would just raise his prices to 7 or 8$/g or whatever to get more of the cut instead of mutiliating them lol.

I just think its kinda nonsensical, this behavior would not even fit in some slum or mexican cartell area and even less in our surroundings and would have prefered if Vinny and Quinn would have tried to fuck buddy over in another/smater way to make this whole storyline (which i like, just not this reasoning) better.

They could have laced their stuff too strongly because of greed (esp vinny) which would have led to too many od's which leads to more exposure for buddy or something like that but i guess it would have made Quinn even more evil.

I don't think Buddy killed Rex. They sold this coke to Lena like 5min before he took it himself and the knife moment was literally seconds after Lena left. On top of that, I know Quinn was 6 yo but she saw Buddy panicking and trying to actually save Rex, he wouldn't act that way.

I agree it's not exactly Narcos scenario but believe me, many if not most this caliber dealers are not exactly very smart. I will not defend fully this story, fuck you DPC, but it's good enough for AVN in my opinion.

I had lower expectations for EP11, considering I barely slogged through EP10 on release day, but I really enjoyed this one. It's the best one of S3 for me so far. Even though the game still suffers from too many free roams, mini-games, and useless filler content, there's still a decent amount of story content and character progression to keep it afloat. I would prefer that DPC reverts to an S1-type structure with more focus on plot progression, but we know it's not happening after the decision to split paths in EP8.

I especially liked how he handled the Sage, Zoey, and Sally content. The Sage family drama was the highlight of the episode. On the other hand, the lowlight was Quinn/Riona/Vinnie's story. It was on a downward spiral anyway, ever since the dev decided to reveal more details about what appears to be the most retarded drug distribution ring ever.
