I used to like Quinn, she was one of my favorite LIs, but after this chapter I just want to hit her, everything bad that happens to Rio is her fault, hopefully in the future we can do something to help her.

I'm curious what more you think you learned about Quinn and Rio's dynamic from this episode that wasn't clear before. It's been clear since season 1 that Quinn manipulated her and used her. If anything, the new information we got this episode was confirmation that Quinn actually did care about Riona, despite her own best efforts not to.

It was weird, I could accept Zoey path when she declared her love when I was on the Jill path, but I didn't get the option when I was on the throuple or my Quinn others path.

Even though I'm living in a country where drug use is a lot less common and I haven't tried any drug my entire life, I immediately called this plot bullshit when I saw it because like you guys said this is so nonsensical. I feel like DPC has this overall plot progression in his head, but he doesn't have a clear idea of how to progress the plot smoothly, so he just adds things he thinks make sense, just like a lot of similar nonsensical ideas like Josy and Maya worrying about their lesbian relationship for no reason or the latest plot where Derek cuts his finger off out of nowhere so that the Bella's locked room plot can be revealed smh.

The writing overall was just flat out bad this update. The dialogue was some of the worst I've ever seen, like he asked an AI to come up with various ways of how to say something and picked at random. Some of the characters are now speaking like non-native English speakers. Like they understand the words, but not how to properly put them together in conversation. It's like Spanglish or Chinglish, where they create their own sayings by combining their native language with English because they THINK they understand the English they're using.

I played through on my first ever save file where I pursued Rio explicitly not knowing anything about AVN's really. Sage once again threw herself at me, all of the main LI's teased me as they partied together - alone at Bella's place and not at either party for some fucking reason. All this build-up like DPC was making Rio a main LI in the last few updates for some reason was completely fucking discarded. Her last conversation with my MC was about them being a couple, MC goes to Maya's parents, Rio gets abducted - all paths are now DoA and I'm being told I blew off Lily in a situation where she was never present. This update was a complete fucking disaster. Part of me wants to see how the various paths play out, but at the same time the dialogue was really fucking cringe.

Btw, this update is good, just very confusing on how to get all the gallery scenes.. and I have a feeling I'm not the only one not interested in going back to like 10 different saves and playing them through again. What a time consuming headache that is lol. And brawler is pretty difficult to play and win, unless I just suck at it. Nice game DPC well done.

Okay, time to be brutally honest. This update wasn't it.

#1: Free Roam & Mini Games
First of all, DPC needs to give us the option to get rid of/scale down/skip the free roam and mini games because they are actually a chore at this point. Also give us a walkthrough when in free roam! Wasted way too much time trying to find people to progress the story.

#2: Characters
As someone whose on the "others" path because I didn't want to be locked into a path at the end of S2 (because S3 was coming out and DPC was still introducing new girls) I have to say the that the main LI's have no relevancy to the story. The side girls outshine them to the point that its not even funny (looking at Lily/Sally/Riona etc)

As for Quinn, I don't even know if she's a main or a side at this point (considering how interesting her story is right now I'd say she's a side) (Speak more on her in #3).

For the first time since playing this game in 2019, I started skipping dialogue. Maya's storyline was so pathetic and irrelevant that if it weren't for the free roam forcing me to pay attention, I wouldn't know what was going on. (Derek still the goat). Not even gonna mention Josy because her and Maya are so incompatible that watching them irritates me. And if you don't care about Jill (like me) the opening to this update was a real waste of time.

All I can say is that DPC really made a mistake forcing us to choose one girl at the end of S2. My favourites at the time Bella and Sage I had to abandon because I didn't want to cheat or miss content with the new girls. And Zoey, its a shame but she was introduced too late to have a real impact.

#3: Story/Update
I'm just going to go ahead and say it. This update was filler.

What should have focused on Quinn and Riona somehow turned into another Party focused update with little to no main story progress. Yeah we got some reveals and stuff, but most were either unsurprising or lacked impact. Also what was up with the whole diary scene? DPC really didn't need to waste time animating that sex scene. Could have focused his attention elsewhere. I'm just hoping this diary stuff has a point to it.

Also when did all the main Li's start becoming besties? The way they spent time together felt really off.

Didn't like the fact that DPC forced us to do another pick one girl with Nicole. Could have just kept it casual and asked us to pick later. Felt way to early and rushed.

Honestly I feel the story telling has gone down since ep 10. Hopefully by late 2026/early 2027 we'll be back on track.

You confirmed that you don’t pay attention, since you can turn off the mini-games before starting a new game. All you need to do is look at the phone and check your task list once in a while to see who you need to talk to. That should only take 5 minutes tops to get through all the dialogue if you do that. And you then admit to not looking at all the paths and wonder why everyone is now friends with each other or why their stories seem half done. Do you even hear yourself?

Like, I want to be clear, we were told the CHIK's would not be present bc they had to go to the jocks party, yet all of the non-LI CHIK's were present. The writing was just THAT BAD. Like DPC wasted a year working on the mini-games everyone hates then spent the last 3 months running renders and slapping it all together with an AI generated script. This was just fucking attrocious.

I like that compared with most games where the moment you get a full scene with a LI you fuck her one more time and then its epilogue, where the chase is 95% of the relationship. I like that we experience dating them, my problem is with the morality systems and arbitrary routes. I think those and ofc DPC predisposition for cheap drama is what makes it a bit frustrating.

Think about it in another game, maybe you have the cheating opportunities, but you don't have a morality system that makes you auto accept, or auto reject certain things making it even more frustrating to navigate, it feels like you are a hamster that can leave the maze only in the path DPC wants you to.
